Drug Ring Busted At Columbia University

By Wyatt Earp | December 8, 2010

Oh, so that’s why their football team They’re all strung out on LSD-infused SweetTarts!

Five Columbia University students were charged Tuesday with selling LSD-spiked candy and other drugs at three fraternity houses and other residences on the Ivy League campus, with two allegedly claiming they needed the drug money to cover tuition.

Police arrested Christopher Coles, Harrison David, Adam Klein, Jose Stephen Perez and Michael Wymbs at dawn on Tuesday at the prestigious school in upper Manhattan. They pleaded not guilty to multiple drug dealing charges alleging they were supplied by violent traffickers.

Authorities called it one of the largest drug take downs on a New York City college campus in recent memory.

Can we finally put to rest the popular opinion that Ivy League students are the nation’s best and brightest? It sure seems like everyone that goes to one of these prestigious schools – including the last three presidents – has “dabbled” in narcotics.

You’d think after 4+ decades of having these clowns running the country, and running it into the ground, that people would’ve figured it out by now. Yet we keep voting them back in year after year.

GroovyVic – In fairness, you have to be on meth to read this blog.

John D – We should vote in people who went to state schools. Well, not Penn State or Ohio State, but other schools.

    Kim – Wow, good point.

LDIV – I love how they’re wearing their Columbia apparel to jail. They’ll make friends fast.

With a certain amount of alma mater bias, the best and brightest of this nation can be found at the United States Military Academy at West Point, certainly not at Columbia.

DL474 – That’s your future president and VP in that photo.

Mrs. Crankipants – One can only hope.

Michael – I would throw in all of the service academies, but your point is well taken.
