Obama To Appear On American Idol?

Oh, for cripes’ sake!
Simon Cowell and “American Idol” have the power and popularity to enlist plenty of big names to appear on the show. But can they pull in the biggest name of all — President Barack Obama?
According to digitalspy.com, Cowell told Absolute Radio that “we’re trying to get (Obama) to do a show at the moment.”
Excuse me, Simon, but Barack Obama is not a rock star. He is the President of the United States. If he has time to come on your show, then he needs to find a new line of work.
Cowell also called the president “a really cool guy.” (H/T - MSNBC)
I’d rather him be a “really good president.” Maybe Cowell is hiding under a rock - with his ambiguously gay “longtime companion” - but there are a couple of more pressing issues facing the country than his lame television show.
That being said, I’d bet dollars to donuts - Mmm . . . donuts! - that Obama will eventually appear.

People need to get a grip, and Obama needs to stop posing and worrying about photo-ops.

Ever since I found that pod in my basement, Obama is a really cool guy:) I think he should be on every TV show, maybe even a remake of Thunderdome with him against Jesus Christ. The announcer would say..”Two Messiahs enter only one Messiah leaves” I am supposed to deliver these other pods, bye now:)

it annoys to think that you’re right, he probably will end up on the show, but at the same time I say keep at it bamster - just gonna continue to loose support from people in this country.
