A Resurgent Taliban In Kamdesh

By Wyatt Earp | October 11, 2009

Camp Keating

Fantastic. Maybe avoiding General McChrystal’s phone calls was not the president’s best idea?

On the day of President Obama’s glorious Nobel Appease Prize victory, a Taliban henchman gloats in Afghanistan in the aftermath of the Kamdesh siege:

Speaking by telephone from an undisclosed location, Taliban spokesman Zabiullah Mujahid said the U.S. bombarded the outpost with airstrikes after leaving, as well as the local police headquarters.

“This means they are not coming back,” Mujahid said. “This is another victory for Taliban. We have control of another district in eastern Afghanistan. Right now Kamdesh is under our control, and the white flag of the Taliban is raised above Kamdesh,” Mujahid said.

Provincial police chief, Gen. Mohammad Qasim Jangulbagh, said the pullout “has had a direct affect on the morale of Afghan forces.” (H/TMichelle Malkin)

This may be the worst thing that has happened in Afghanistan in recent memory. The victory has emboldened the Taliban, and like the Somalis after the 1993 Battle of Mogadishu, these rat bastards are going to be a pain in the ass to wipe out.

President Obama needs to stop polishing that worthless Nobel peace Prize and give the general what he needs to finish this war, post haste!

Obozo has no idea of how to fix the economy, war on terror or anything for that matter.

    Empty suit.

His only agenda is, to break the U.S. system of government.

Unfortunately it is Obama’s now, He does not seem to know what to do about it, and no one he cares about will have to die in it either.

I would rather the President let the Chain-of-Command work and leave McChrystal alone. Barry never served and has no clue what it is like out on the battlefield. The president needs to set policies, allocate resources and stay the hell out of the battle. Let the warriors fight with what they got and do their best. Can you imagine what it would be like to have your phone ring and the mayor tell you how to do what you do every minute of the day? Sounds like hell to me. MUD

Obama has no experience to draw on other than that of Axelrod and Emmanuel. Dealing with thugs in Chicago can’t begin to measure up to fighting a war. How soon will this wimp be gone? I don’t think this country can afford to wait until the next election. All I hear coming from the Taliban are clucking sounds whenever Obama’s name is mentioned. What a waste of the Office of the President!

Teetop – And sadly with that, he is a complete success!

Admiral – Funny how that works, huh?

MUD – Obama is too much of an egomaniac to let the decisions be made without his input. That’s the problem.

MeToo – Oh to have a Reagan now!
