Overnight Thread

By Wyatt Earp | June 23, 2011

During the 2008 election, Candidate Obama promised to repair our relations with the world. He embarked on a multi-national tour, begging forgiveness for the heinous sins of the eeeeevil Bush administration. And the world responded positively.

My, what a difference two years make.

First the good news: U.S. President Barack Obama is more than twice as popular in Egypt as Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadenijad.

Now, the bad news: the American president’s standing has never been worse in Egypt, plummeting since 2008, when he received a 25 percent favorability rating, to 12 percent in 2011. Even Osama Bin Laden, the late al Qaeda leader, was more popular this year, with a 21 percent favorability ranking. The Iranian leader fared worse, dropping from 21 percent favorability rating in 2008 to a miserable 5 percent.

So much for improving our standing in the world, huh?

Our Friends The Yemenis

More than 60 al Qaeda prisoners escaped from a southern Yemeni jail Wednesday after they clashed with guards, killing one and wounding two others, security and medical officials said. The prisoners fled the central jail in al Mukalla, the capital of Hadramawt province, into the nearby mountains after they overpowered the guards and seized some of their weapons, a security official said.

Anyone think these animals actually escaped, or were simply released.

Tonight’s post is sponsored by unpopular alarm clocks.

Howdy Wyatt – never mind his standing in Egypt – wonder how his standing is among the Troops? I mean, nothing says “I support you fully” then by increasing the number of troops (which means OBAMA owns the Afghanistan War) and then slapping them in the face, giving up on the War in Afghanistan so that those who fought and were killed or horribly wounded there would do so in vain.
Betcha Obama’s standing with the Taliban is really high right now.

As for the troops, I can tell you that Barry is scheduled to fly into Pittsburgh today and land at Husband’s base. One of the Colonels popped into Husband’s office and asked for volunteers to meet the president.

    No one volunteered.

I personally think that we should leave “Doomsday’ devices, large yeild nukes buried and incased in concrete etc., in all major population centers of Afghanistan when we go. Then if they ever finance and/or train another contingent to attack us here, or abuse their own people, or even sneeze, we set them off. Since nukes can be tailored to be essentially clean or ‘dirty’ we make these especially dirty. But thats just me. in fact that would work for the whole middle east come to think of it.

Also since 2008 Obama “Accomplishments” are:
    1) Promoting Black Panthers at the polling stations, smears on law enforcement.

    2) Let Union corruption spread to the White House

    3) Destroyed the constitution

    4) Given us the Pigford Scandal

    5) Brought on project Gun Runner

    6) The administration is a dysfunctional re-tread cabinet

    7) We have czars who do not report to Congress.

    8) Given us t-shirt rallies at memorials.

    9) We are $14 Trillion in the Hole

    10) 9.1% Unemployment

    11) 20.9% Underemployment

    12) Gone after the state the AZ for passing a constiutional law.

    13) Gone after FoxNews because they wouldn’t report favorably on the administration.

Gees this list could go on and on. This is going to be my post today at Liberal Lie in Color.

Obama’s damage will be longer lasting than Osama’s damage as long as he continues to follow the orders of Puppetmaster George Soros.

Real – I’d like to think the man cares about the troops, but his actions argue against that thought.

    GroovyVic – I’m shocked. Shocked, I say!

Jon – I noticed her never once said the word “victory” in his Afghanistan speech.

Ferrell – And yet, the man will still get a lot of votes in 2012.

Wyatt, he’ll get all the votes because the Necrotic American voter group always comes out in droves for the Dems.

Wyatt – Forgive me for this shout out to another web site but in The Blaze you all must listen to Pat Condell’s new video on mooselimbs, women and rape, especially in the Norwegian countries where the population of them is reaching the 5% level, which from past experience/history is the point they start trying to “change” their adopted home to their vision of mecaca.

If I knew how to do the linky thing I wouldn’t have had to type the above.

He is one of the most straight forward, truthful, accurate, to the point commenters on the dangers of mooselimbs and islam that I have heard in a long long time.
