President Obama Hires A Transvestite

By Wyatt Earp | January 5, 2010

No, not for his own recreational use, but as a presidential appointee. And get this, the man-turned-woman’s new name is “A-man-da.” You can’t make this stuff up, folks!

For Amanda Simpson, believed to be America’s first openly transgender presidential appointee, the job she starts Tuesday in the U.S. Commerce Department is an honor and the culmination of a career dedicated to understanding military technology.

But what gnaws at her, she says, is the fear of being labeled a token who was hired because of her sexual identity rather than on her merits.

“Being the first sucks,” she told ABC News.com. “I’d rather not be the first but someone has to be first, or among the first. I think I’m experienced and very well qualified to deal with anything that might show up because I’ve broken barriers at lots of other places and I always win people over with who I am and what I can do.”

Wouldn’t it have been more appropriate to appoint “Amanda” to the Department of Trans-portation? Heh.

I must say Amanda’s speech is certainly eloquent…”being the first sucks”. It would appear the dumbing down of American is coming along nicely in Obama’s administration. Oh, and Wyatt, now we know the opposite of “eye candy”. Whoa!

She walked up to me and she asked me to dance.
I asked her her name and in a dark brown voice she said, “Amanda”
    A-man-a-man-manda

    Kinky!

MeToo – Yeah, she’s eye acid.

Mark – Nicely done! Great song, by the way.

Jason – Where’s Austin Powers to pull off her wig?

Sorry, your terminology is off. A transvestite is a person, usually a heterosexual man, who gets sexual pleasure by dressing as a person of the opposite gender. Amanda Simpson is transgendered, a person who has undergone sex-reassignment surgery, years of hormonal therapy, and psychological counseling. These folks need it, as they feel they have the wrong genitals, being “trapped in the body” of the opposite gender.

It is hideously expensive, insurance doesn’t cover it, so they pay out of pocket, and it runs around 75K. As part of it involves the surgical removal of perfectly good genitals, these people are committed.

They also tend to be profoundly unhappy people. Going male to female is slightly easier, due to the problems of making a functional penis. They are more deserving of pity and sympathy than ridicule.

William – My mistake. I thought “transgender” was a relatively new term, though. Maybe I am just not current with the proper terminology. Thanks for the correction.

This person is a senior technical advisor for weapons exports from the USA. It is impossible for me to believe there is not a better qualified individual that should have been appointed. Part of being an advisor in this kind of post is being is to be psychologically sound and balanced. There is no way this person meets that criteria.

Just another pathetic PC payoff from the idiot and committed socialist running the white house.

On a lighter note, I just read where the federal 9th circus court of appeals has ruled felons in jail in Wash. state have to be allowed to vote in order to conform to the voting rights act.

If this nation was a plane I would be fastening my seat belt because it will be a brutal landing.

Ralph – I saw that at Ace of Spades. Someone remarked that KSM could move to Washington and vote now. Swell, huh?

Well, if you want to be low-key about things, why pose for a picture and allow yourself to be interviewed. Just say, “No thank you. I’d rather just go about my job.”

I doubt it is so much of a public position that it demands media access. My uncle was a presidential appointee and had things written about his work, but he never had to discuss anything other than that.

I think folks need to focus on how people do their jobs, not how they identify themselves or have sex. No one come to my job to ask what it is like to be a single female.

    Mrs. Crankipants – Or vice-versa.

Roger Dee – Aargh! My eyes!

RT – No, asking those questions is my job!

How about we simplify this and refer to that person as IT.
IT isnt a HE or a SHE in my book. IT’s somewhere inbetween. And if you cant accept and handle what sex god gave you, how in the hell are you going to accept the responsibility of a job given to you by the POTUS?
    Insanity abounds.

William – who gives a sh*t what we call it? You say “tomato”, I say “wacko”.

I thought this was progress on the Gov’t's part…

Going from “Don’t ask, don’t tell” to

    “Don’t ask”.

William – you have inspired me.

From now on, whenever I’m having a bad day, or am not catching any fish, I’m going to say to myself…

“Hey, at least I have a functional penis”.

(No “taking the little things for granted jokes”, please)

Nice blog ya got here, Wyatt.

I am not trying to sound confrontational in this so keep reading and you”ll learn something about this topic you seem ok with ridiculing. First off transgenderism is not a choice in the traditional sense of the word. It is either live happy or die slowly inside, and I believe this nation was founded on “Life, Liberty, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS.” Second, this is how it happens, there are three times during the gestation of a fetus when hormones are introduced to determine Gender (Physical), Gender (Mental), and sexuality. None of these are neccessarily mutually exclusive. It’s either nature’s screw up, or for those who are Christian’s who understand we are all sent here with diffrent trials (Some harder than others) it’s our trial from God to overcome the hardships that transgenders face in society. The third thing, and I leave this for you all to ponder if you are open minded enough and have read this far, imagine waking up tomorrow and you arn’t you anymore, no one remembers you as who you were except you. If you were a woman with a family all that is taken from you, if you are a man (I personally don’t know if the impact would be the same since I am not male) but the same thing, your family is gone. Imagine having to live that lie for the rest of your life, how mentally traumatic would that be for you? Now you have a little understanding of what transgendered people go through pre-op. I am all for freedom of expression and the right to have your own opinions and beliefs as long as they are made informed from correct information. Even knowing that that means I have to swallow the fact that people who are racist, sexist, etc have the right to have those beliefs, without that right I wouldn’t be able to have mine. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we could all put aside our predisposed beliefs based off society norms and accept people for their accomplishments and who they want to be percieved as rather than by the news-worthy fantastical taboos they break. Sorry if it sounded like I was preaching, just trying to educate. God bless you all and God bless America.
