Please Pray For The Professor
By Wyatt Earp | January 5, 2010
You may remember this post from November, where I asked you all to pray for my friend and fellow blogger Right Wing Prof. He had been diagnosed with lung cancer and was transferred to a rest home/hospice.
In the two months since that post, the Prof’s health has rapidly deteriorated. So much so that his close friend Xopher wrote this comment today on the Prof’s most recent blog post:
Friends,
The Professor lived through the night, myself and an Orthodox priest by his side. His body is strong. Please pray for all who face trouble and pain, and thank you for your prayers for the Professor.
I’d be lying if I said this didn’t upset me. Cancer is a despicable disease, and it seems to be getting the better of him. Thankfully, his faith and his friends are keeping him strong and in good spirits, and I know he would appreciate a few prayers sent his way.
So please, I beg of you, say a prayer, stop by his blog, and leave a comment of support. Thank you.

I continue to pray for him and his family. I know his faith is strong, and that when he’s called home his story and life will continue to touch the people left behind.

DL474 – Amen to that. He is a much stronger man that I will ever be.

I left this comment at the Professor’s site, but it is awaiting moderation:
I recently came across the professor’s other blog while looking up something about the Amish and followed the link to this one. I’m sorry that the professor is not well.
May Jesus Christ, who gave His life for us, give peace to all involved.
