Well, We Survived

And I am now comfortably blogging from my laptop computer while wearing the fabulous slippers on the left, compliments of my brother-in-law and his family. Here are the highlights of the day:
1:00am – Julia woke up and wouldn’t go back to sleep. So, the missus brought her upstairs to sleep with us. That was fun, especially when she kicked me in the back and slapped me in the face. We got about a total of three hours sleep overall.
6:00am – Kyle woke up and said he couldn’t go back to sleep. Uh-huh. So, he jumped in bed, too, and we stayed there until 7am.
7:00am-8:00am – Pretty hazy. I remember torn and thrown wrapping paper, some yelling about an awesome Star Wars AT-ST and a Remote Control Wall-E. Sadly, no Guinness was involved.
9:00am – My mom and sister came over. More hazy mayhem. Good times.
11:30am-2:30pm – DAD TAKES A NAP!!! It was kickass.
3:30pm-8:00pm – Christmas dinner at the in-laws. More wrapping paper mayhem. Guinness was involved, since dinner was Guinness stew.
10:30pm – Forgot all about the blog. Threw a post together before passing out. Hope you all had a terrific Christmas!
