Weighing My Options

By Wyatt Earp | August 2, 2009

christian_bale_shirtlessWell, I took last week’s weigh-in off because I was up to my ears in projects and events. This week, I was ready for the scale.

I kept to my Weight Watchers points, even though I didn’t get much chance to exercise. The constant rains and the construction made it more difficult for me to get out, but I was confident that dieting alone would help.

Apparently, I was right.

I stood on the scale yesterday and found this lovely number staring back at me: 202 Pounds. Bam! That is down three pounds in two weeks, and six pounds since I re-started the program, four weeks ago. Pretty soon, I’ll be looking like Christian Bale (left).

At this point, I am only three pounds away from 199, and ten pounds away from my lowest weight in fifteen years. Bring it!

No doubt about it, you will soon be a lean, mean detective machine.

Try typing with your toes while running in place. If that doesn’t work, come up and help out with my 1894 mill building restoration. I’ll wring out 20 pounds of sweat in a week and I won’t charge you near as much as that sissy program your enrolled in now!

Just trying to help another leo.

YAY! I haven’t weighed myself in two weeks. Guess it doesn’t help that my mom threw out my scale during the move. :)

    Good on ya mate!

There’s this restaurant around the corner from my office that employs the most lovely young ladies as servers, and they have a dish their called “Freak Balls”. Essentially it’s chunks of chicken (white meat), battered, deep fried, then covered with french fries, and melted cheese, topped with cole slaw and served with a side of hot sauce for dipping.

I think I’ll have that for lunch tomorrow. Enjoy your salad Wyatt!

E.L. – Thanks. Trying my best.

Mrs. Crankipants – Gotta get into bikini shape for Sea Isle. We go away in two weeks.

MeToo – If I can get below 195, I would be ecstatic. Below 190 would be Heaven.

    Morgan – Trying, man. Trying.

Alan – Or bring some of those triangular weights they had in the early 1900′s. “Bully!”

    RT – Wow, that’s harsh.

Woody – The Lean Cuisine/Smart Ones meals are okay. And I am so used to diet iced tea and soda, the regular stuff taste terrible now.

Doghouse – Thanks. I’m kind of proud of myself.

Wyatt – check out Dailyburn.com. I’ve been at it for about 2 months and, while I’m not gaining anymore, I’ve stabilized at 244 for 3 weeks. Now to lose (weight, that is)!
