The Dead Are Receiving Stimulus Checks

I guess the Obama administration is expecting them to stimulate themselves back to life.
Now after you read this, tell me again why anyone would want the government to run our health care? You see what has happened to the auto industry under their expert guidance.
This week, thousands of people are getting stimulus checks in the mail. The problem is that a lot of them are dead. A Long Island woman was shocked when she checked the mail and received a letter from the U.S. Treasury — but it wasn’t for her.
Antoniette Santopadre of Valley Stream was expecting a $250 stimulus check. But when her son finally opened it, they saw that the check was made out to her father, Romolo Romonini, who died in Italy 34 years ago. He’d been a U.S. citizen when he left for Italy in 1933, but only returned to the United States for a seven-month visit in 1969.
Well, in fairness, the dead have been voting for Democrats for years. It is about time their president awarded them for their loyalty. A loyalty that extends from beyond the grave.
The Santopadres are not alone. The Social Security Administration, which sent out 52 million checks, says that some of those checks mistakenly went to dead people because the agency had no record of their death. That amounts to between 8,000 and 10,000 checks for millions of dollars. (H/T - Drudge)
The best part? The Social Security Administration said that mistakenly sending out only eight to ten thousand checks to dead people is not really that bad a record.

wtf would they use a database that is 40 years old? This guy was last here in 1969 right -40 years ago. Is my math correct? And the guy never received soc sec checks in his life according to his kids.
Yeah it is a damn shame what is happening to the car business. I can’t blame Obama yet for that mess - ask me again on Monday. Heh.

It would have been cheaper from the get-go if they had just cut our taxes up front, rather than first collecting the money from us then mailing some of it back. And, as an added bonus, they wouldn’t be sending checks to dead folks.

They used the democraps voting list to mail them out. I’m suprised some of the dead didn’t get two checks.

This shocks you why? The dead always vote in Chicago, Philly, Baltimore, Camden and most other cities controlled by democrats.
Oh yeah. Universal health scare, that’s the ticket.
