Cougar Escapes Florida Custody

Apparently, there is an APB (All Paws Bulletin) on the cat.
POINCIANA, Fla. — Wildlife officials are looking for a pregnant cougar that escaped into the woods in central Florida while being transferred to a cage.
The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission says the cougar escaped Saturday while being prepared for a trip to the veterinarian for a cesarean section.
Jungle Adventures in Christmas has a permit to own the cougar.
Officials say the cougar was born in captivity and is named Sierra. The cat’s front paws are declawed and it’s wearing a collar. (LINK)

Anyone who had a cougar declawed should also be charged with cruelty, permit or no permit. Ugh.
