Congratulations, Kyle!

It’s a good feeling to know that you’re raising a decent, respectful child.
This morning, our 7-year old son Kyle was honored in school today. He was one of 16 students (From Grades 1-8) who received a “Peacemaker Award” for responsibility. Kyle’s teacher nominated him for being helpful, obedient, and supportive of his classmates. Being a Roman Catholic school, the presentation was made during mass in front of the entire student body. The missus and I (along with my in-laws) were on hand to see him receive the award.
Like most parents, there are times when we are disappointed in our children. Sometimes, they act like knuckleheads – like Dad. But, to be honest, Kyle is a model student. He earns good grades and has never been a discipline problem. This award is just icing on the cake.
We are all very proud of him.

Yay! Way to go Kyle! And way to go, parents- raising good kids is not as easy as TV made it look in those old shows. Pats on the back all around!

Good for Kyle! You all are doing a great job with the kids.
I know I don’t have to tell you to be proud, but the recognition with which he was honored is truly something to be proud of as a parent.

Awwww, it’s always nice to hear about kids doing good things. Obviously mom and dad are doing something very right.
Congrats to Kyle
