Happy Birthday, Julia!

Today is my lovely daughter’s second birthday. As you can plainly see, she knows who runs things in our house: it’s the princess.
Sure, she still wakes up at all hours of the night, and ends up sleeping in our bed for a few hours. Sure, she has the occasional crying fit for reasons unknown. Sure, she torments her brothers – particularly Kevin, who is usually the target of her sneak attacks. But all of that is forgotten with one smile, and a pleasant, “Hi Daddy!”
Naturally, I think she is the most beautiful girl in the world, and this picture proves it.
I wasn’t looking for cute overload here, but I also wanted to post the below photo – if for no other reason than it really accentuates her mischievous nature. Take a look at that face and tell me she isn’t plotting something evil . . .
We celebrated her birthday last weekend, because I have to work tonight. The rest of the clan will have cake tonight. Happy birthday, Jules! We love you very much.
