Bruce Springsteen: Born To Run

By Wyatt Earp | April 7, 2010

Born to run from husbands, that is. As if I needed another reason to despise this no-talent, raspy-voiced, Lefty crooner.

A New Jersey couple ended their marriage Tuesday after the iconic rock singer reportedly came in between them.

Wow, that is possibly the most double-entendre-filled, poorly-worded sentence I have ever read.

The glory days are over for a New Jersey couple who finally hashed out their differences and agreed to split up over the wife’s alleged affair with rocker Bruce Springsteen, the New York Post reported Tuesday. Arthur, 46, and Ann, 45, who have two children, agreed to waive a trial and to abide by an arbitrator’s child-support and alimony rulings, expected in the next two months.

According to court papers filed by Arthur, a $500,000-a-year mortgage broker, his stay-at-home wife started an affair with The Boss at a high-priced gym, where Springsteen, 60, once reportedly told her she had the “nicest ass” in the place.

Now that’s classy! Of course, to be really successful with that line, you need the perfect delivery. Like so . . .

See, Bruce? That’s how it’s done.

Amazing how some people get away with s**t like that. And what of MS Springsteen? Guess she’s OK with it. BTW, That Hastings sure does get around….

RogerDee – Remember, I believe the current Ms. Springsteen is the second Ms. Springsteen.

Well “came in between them” is technically correct.

I agree, Pacino’s way is the right way!

Ironic that his initials are BS.

I love that YOU and I hate this guy. Brilliant minds think alike. I have friends that jump horses and I am forced to see him and Patty every year at Devon Horse show. (Their daughter is always entered)
I don’t like him even a little bit.

It takes talent and dumb luck to construct a sentence of that magnitude.

    Heat! Greatest. Crime. Flick. Ever!

“Ferocious, aren’t I?! See, when I think of asses—a woman’s ass—something comes out of me!”

    Mark – *shudder*

Morgan – At least he’s up front about it.

Mrs. Crankipants – And such a smooth talker, too. /snark

Danny – I never thought he was talented and never liked any of his stuff. Even in his heyday.

USAdmiral – The writer probably didn’t realize how crass it sounded. Oh well, live and learn.

John D – “Stop wastin’ my motherf**kin’ time!”

Why haven’t you posted a picture of this so called “nicest ass”?

Mrs. Crankipants – If I had it, I’d post it – if only to hear you proclaim yours is nicer.

So this guy dumps his first wife, Julianne Phillips, who was very attractive for his bandmate, Patti Scialfa, who looks more like an Irish setter. He and Patti don’t get married until she is pregnant with their second child cuz Bruce was still smarting from his divorce. What a piece of work! As for Patti…a cheater’s a cheater….He cheated with you, he’ll cheat on you. Get a clue people. I don’t feel sorry for any of the adults in this whole sordid mess. Karma…what a *itch.

Are you suggesting that I’m vain?

BTW, I saw one on Monday that was pretty remarkable.

MeToo – I couldn’t believe he let Julianne Phillips get away. He definitely married up.

Mrs. Crankipants – Not at all, but I was hoping you would send in a pic for a comparison. Heh.

Just read that Tiki Barber left his pregnant wife..eight months pregnant with twins, for a 23-year-old intern at NBC.

    I have no words.

Old NFO – Not sure. Maybe because Bruce is a flaming liberal and the darling of some elements of the MSM?

RT – That’s awesome! (Oh come on, a 23-year old? SCORE!)
