See this, Lewis? This is what awaits you.

A convicted Philadelphia cop killer has been sentenced to death.

John Lewis, 23, will die on Pennsylvania’s death row for the killing of Officer Chuck Cassidy on Halloween day 2007. Lewis pled guilty to shooting Cassidy when the officer interrupted an armed robbery at a Dunkin’ Donuts on North Broad Street.

In his closing argument, Assistant District Attorney Edward Cameron told the jury that death was the appropriate sentence.

“He [John Lewis] puts the value of money ahead of the value of human life,” Cameron said. “He’s not sorry because he went trick or treating [the night of the crime] with his uncle in South Philly.”(H/TCBS3)

Good riddance to bad rubbish. Let’s hope the sentence is eventually carried out.

The only downside here is the number of years it will take to carry out sentence.

Another satisfied customer. Hopefully, he won’t die of old age on death row.

I am always curious if it is harder on the guy of they take a long time or easier. There is a bastard rotting in isolation in Arkansas that I would love to help execute but after 10 years the wait is easier. MUD

Maybe they will break tradition and execute this scum bag the first time without any stays.

Does anyone really think ed rendersmell, the chief man-loin luncher and limp wristed sea ock farmer, will actually grow a pair and sign a death warrant? And/or act to carry out the necessary work?
    I don’t.
    Our laws are useless.

Send him here to Ohio where we can botch it up for several hours first trying to find a vein. I think they should go back to hanging or better yet, execution the same way they did the victim.

That doesn’t look scary enough. Bring back the gallows.
