Unlike Egypt, Cancer Does Not Discriminate

By Wyatt Earp | October 20, 2009

Egypt Komen Breast CancerCancer is a terrible disease. Thankfully, there are terrific organizations combating it on a daily basis. One such organization is the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization, which does wonderful things to raise money and awareness of breast cancer.

Unfortunately, some people do not reap the benefits of this education and awareness. People like these, who are holding this week’s Komen conference in Egypt, for example.

Be forewarned: You will probably be pretty angry after reading this article.

The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Organization is holding a conference this week in Egypt. No Jews are allowed.

A United States-based organization’s conference on breast cancer awareness, to be hosted in Egypt, has been touted by international news networks as an example of “unprecedented cooperation” in the region. However, according to Channel 2 news, the celebration of unity may be premature, as Israeli doctors were told at the last minute that their invitations to participate had been rescinded.

Israeli doctors were invited to the event as well, and several had planned to attend. However, on Sunday night, the doctors received brief notices telling them that they were no longer invited to the conference, by order of Egyptian Health Minister Hatem el-Gabali.

The notices did not include an explanation of Gabali’s decision.

Evidently, boycotting Israel is more important than curing breast cancer. (H/TGateway Pundit)

Disgusting. As a person who has been recently diagnosed with skin cancer, this decision offends me greatly.

Good move, Egypt – let’s not invite a nation who has spawned some of history’s greatest and most successful scientists of all time.

    This doesn’t surprise me, plus…

Besides the usual Jew hating, Egypt is probably still bitter about having their asses handed to them by Israel in 1967.

Not to mention Egypt having their ass handed to them in the Suez war in the early 50′s also. For awhile they ceded control of the Sinai to Israel rather than accept the humiliating offer of British help when it was offered. If it hadn’t been for the Asians (NK with China probably in the shadows) helping Pakistan develop the bomb, the arabs would probably have had to steal one to have them, when Jewish scientists essentially 50 years before had built a couple already :) LOL Sadat was a very big exception to their cut their nose off to spite their face mentality, but look where that got him.

I suppose these guys will also refuse the benefit of any medical treatment developed by Jewish doctors, right? As everyone knows, Allah hates a hypocrite.

As for Egypt’s humiliating military defeats at the hands of Israel, you can find “Arab Military Victory” under “A” in the Big Book of Oxymorons.

Cancer claimed the following relatives of mine- My mother, grandmother, grandfather, one aunt, one uncle, another grandmother, and one uncle is very ill with it now. Not to mention my best friend.
You are right- this story pisses me off. Thanks

Not letting Jewish doctors come to a cancer conference is like holding a suicide bombers conference and not letting Muslims attend or an NBA conference and not letting African Americans attend. It just does not make sense to keep some of the best minds on the subject in the world out of the conference. What morons.

never mind as a person who also had it, I’m offended as a person! Anti-Semitism is so 30′s…as in 630′s AD! These are some dangerous people. Ever read the koran?

Andrew – It’s one of my favorite episodes of “20th Century Battlefields.”

Jon – Yeah – six feet under.

John D – Okay, that’s the funniest comment of the day!

C/A – Yeah, any cancer is serious business.

Ingineer66 – It would be like holding an idiot conference and not letting Alec Baldwin or Michael Moore attend.

Done Snoozin’ – There are enough despicable parts to this story for everyone.
