Philly Mayor Asks Unions For Concessions
By Wyatt Earp | June 29, 2009
Bawahahahahahahahahahaha! How’s that feel, Philly unions? You voted for this incompetent jackass in the hopes that the Democrats would always look after you, and now you’re getting the fist.
How’s that feel, huh?
Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter is hoping city union workers will accept concessions in order to offset the city budget crisis.
Under his proposal, the Mayor is seeking organized labor to agree to wage freezes, higher health car contributions and a reduced pension plan for workers hired after July 1.
Wow, that seems so out of character for a Democrat administration. Bawahahahahaha!!! HopeChange!
“I want our public employees to have a contract that is fair to them and also fair to the public that has to pay for it. We’re in the toughest of economic circumstances with an incredible drop in revenues, so we have to make changes.” (H/T – CBS3)
There’s that word again. Change! Sadly, the dopes in City Hall have no one to blame for this economic mess except themselves. Not George W. Bush, not Barack Obama, not Bernie Madoff. If Philadelphia would collect the outstanding bail fees (over $1 billion), force its inner-city residents to pay their taxes, or cut some of its more egregious political salaries, we wouldn’t be in this frakkin’ mess.
Personally, I hope the city’s worker’s unions vote to strike. This may sound strange, but I have two reasons for this wish:
1. Democrats screwing Democrats means lots of laughs for me.
2. A worker’s strike would mean police officers and detectives would work 12-hour days, with no days off until the strike is settled. That means while the union morons are picketing in the summer heat, I will be making fistfuls of overtime in an air-conditioned office. Their loss is my financial gain!
Strike, strike, strike!!!

Unfortunately a strike is EXACTLY what has to happen. Isn’t it interesting that FEDERAL unionized employees are praised at the highest levels of Government while LOCAL unionized employees are lower than whalesh*t on the bottom of the ocean? While the federal government is increasing and inventing new taxes every second of the day and increasing their rolls, local governments are slashing their employees while raising taxes. It’s time for the employees to stand up to this inept, abusive, arrogant, incompetent and corrupt government. If not now when?

Heh……..Michael “Nutter”
Somehow seems exceedingly appropriate, but then……
Aren’t they all?

RT – It would be fan-freakin’-tastic!
Old NFO – It’s my answered prayers.
Captain – Sadly, this isn’t an election year. The GOP better damned well find someone half-decent to run against this toad on 2011.
RAPH – He has the perfect name to coincide with his policies.

“…force its inner-city residents to pay their taxes…”
What is up with that? It’s like the city is saying, “Well, they won’t pay so we’re not going to make them. Don’t want to hurt their feelings. Let’s just raise taxes on the folks that do pay to make up for the deadbeats.”
Get some wontons Mr. Mayor!!

The Dems have found something they’re good at. Eating their own. I vote they stick with it.

Be careful; they could always shut down another fire station instead.
