Hurricane Kyle Expected To Hit U.S.

Hurricane Kyle makes landfall.

Hurricane Kyle makes landfall.

What’s the big deal? He hits me fifteen or twenty times a day!

MIAMI, Florida — Hurricane Kyle got stronger Sunday morning as it headed toward Maine and Canada, forecasters said.

Kyle, a Category 1 hurricane, is forecast to make landfall late Sunday or early Monday near the border between Maine and Canada.

As of 11 a.m. Sunday, Kyle’s center was about 140 miles (225 kilometers) east-southwest of Nantucket, Massachusetts, and 355 miles (570 kilometers) southwest of Halifax, Nova Scotia, the National Hurricane Center said.

The storm formed Thursday east of the Bahamas.

Kyle’s maximum sustained winds were near 80 mph (130 kph), with higher gusts. The winds had strengthened since Saturday night, when maximum sustained winds were barely above hurricane strength at about 75 mph, forecasters said. (H/TCNN)

Look, I know the kid can talk up a storm, but I don’t think he has any intention of destroying Maine. The box of Oreos we have in the kitchen? Probably. Maine? Not so much.

    RFTR – Lousy Mexican food!

Uber – He dug the hole. Most of us mob guys make the victim dig it before we throw them in. :) Despite the crooked smile, he and Erik were sitting in them every day we went to the beach this year.
