Big City Detective: Day One

By Wyatt Earp | December 31, 2005

“Um . . . I believe you have my stapler.”

I think I made a big mistake.

I’ll have to full roundup after I eat dinner . . . and weep.

Oh? Suddenly the Wagon doesn’t look so bad?

It might take a little while to get the hang of the job. Give it some time. I’m sure you’ll have no trouble turning into a crusty, miserable desk man (“you aint got nothing kid”).

By the way, I guess it’s official now. You’re a dick. LOL.

    Happy New Year.

You can always go back to your old position. I’m sure your ex-sgt would love to have you back.

then again, maybe ny city is hiring

Wagon – No, the wagon is always bad, but I am trying to deal with my little “freak out.” The good news is that I treated every cop that walked in with respect, even when I was about to scream “Serenity Now!”

Anon – I don’t think that’s a good idea. I’ll fail as a detective, but I won’t go back to being a cop. Well, not by my own volition, of course.

since wagonsux wrote that desk men are miserable and you new sgt.put you on the desk. Is there some kind of connection there.
Does your new sgt know you?
working the desk could be your full time position

Anon – SHUT IT!!! I didn’t have my sign-on, so I was the obvious choice. I’ll have you know that I didn’t say, “You ain’t got nuthin’ kid” once!
