I couldn’t believe this article . . . until I remembered it’s California.
[P]rolific porn actress Sasha Grey has caused a storm of controversy after she was invited to an elementary school to read to first and third grade students, some as young as seven. The X-rated star, who has been called the Kobe Bryant of porn, visited Emerson Elementary School in Compton, California as a celebrity guest reader earlier this month.
The visit was planned as part of Read Across America day.
The 23-year-old seemed to be offering the children the Dr Seuss book ‘One fish, two fish, red fish, blue fish’, but the class apparently rejected the classic in favor of something more contemporary.
Natch, a spokesperson for the school district is now denying she was ever there.

Here’s what gets me about this. She’s supposed to be a “celebrity guest” right? So how exactly would these kids know where her “celebrity” comes from. Sports star? sure, Politician? maybe. But porn? I know it’s Cali, but I just can’t see some 7 year old looking at her and saying “WOW, I know you. You were in “Big butts anal whatever” (not really up on her work). I know I’m probably preaching to the choir here but some administrator who has no business teaching kids thought this was a good idea… Sad.
