It’s Official: The Animals Are Taking Over

Remember yesterday’s post about the man who was attacked by a pack of savages? Well, apparently mob attacks are now all the rage here in Philadelphia.
This attack carried over from an incident at South Philadelphia High School – a school steeped in violence. Violence that has been ignored.
According to police, a 12-year-old girl was involved in a fight with two other girls at South Philadelphia High School earlier on Tuesday. Instead of just reporting it to school authorities, adults armed themselves with guns, bats and golf clubs and allegedly went out around 8 p.m. and broke down the door of the home where the 12-year-old lives – with her 59-year-old grandmother, 10-year-old brother and 2-year-old sister.
Remember the good old days when a fistfight would settle an argument? Now the country is filled with cowards.
“Some males arrived with some sticks, golf clubs. During this confrontation, two males produced handguns. They began firing at each other,” Lt. Ray Evers said.
The girl’s toddler sister, younger brother and grandmother all wound up wounded in the shooting. A fourth shooting victim, a 23-year-old man, showed up at a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand. The youngest victim was struck by two bullets, one of which tore through her hip and stomach. At last report she was still in critical condition.
Eventually, these savages will invade the wrong house, and the well-armed home owner will be waiting for them.

Hmmm…sounds like one man was firing at the house of the 12 year old girl. Hence the shot brother, sister and grandmother.
The other man appears to have been shooting back, and is believed to have hit the other shooter in the hand.
So… was this a case of two thugs shooting it up? Or was the second shooter doing lawful self defense? Or somewhere in the middle?
Let’s hypothesize that the second shooter was shooting in self defense… what would be the legal consequences if he was a felon in possession of an illegal gun, or let’s say a non felon, but in possession of an illegal gun or what not.
Any detective insights you can share on this Wyatt?

(Personally, I suspect it was probably just two thugs shooting it up, or maybe a combination of 80% thuggery/20% self defense. But you never know.)

I think residential flash mob attacks will be the next trend in street crime. Naturally, it’ll start in Philly, as the City of Brotherly Love has apparently become the center of innovation in thuggery.

I am going to get one of those signs and stick it in my front window that says “Protected by the second amendment” and has a pic of a gun because obviously these rocket scientists have no idea what the 2nd amendment encompasses. Or perhaps protected by Smith and Wesson.

Wow. These people are so far removed from the people I grew up with, both white and black, as to be totally alien in comparison. Since they enjoy doing things like this so much why don’t they just be honest with themselves and move to Somalia and join a warlords group and then they can rob, rape or pillage all day long. Its steady work over there, they could put burning tires on people they didn’t like, shoot old men and children, steal to their hearts content and its acceptable behaviour.

I am thinking maybe we need to just wall off a few inner cities and set up check points ala Berlin in the post war days. It really is becoming the wild west in a few places. And nobody seems to want to do anything to fix it, other than make speeches I mean.
I am rethinking my position about bringing the troops home and putting them on the borders and ports of entry and instead having them also on the street corners. The Democrats seem determined to make this a 3rd world country and that is certainly where we are headed.

Where I live you rarely see home invasion. This is a right to carry state and we are armed. Darwinism forces the bad guys to other regions.

What slanted, BS reporting. $100 says it was NOT an “automatic weapon”. And “No more pulling hair, just go grab a gun these days”. Damn lack of gun laws. (That last part was comedy/humor)

All good points, folks, I wish I’d thought of them.
However, we need to also address the political climate in our fair city.
If a homeowner meets a flash home invasion with force, he or she will have to account for every round fired, possibly to an assistant DA with ambitions of higher office who will do their best to paint the homeowner as
a vigilante/hatemonger/worse – “and why did you have an assault shotgun/assault rifle/magnum assault pistol loaded in your living room/bedroom/kitchen/bathroom? Why did you fire directly into their young hearts? Couldn’t you have fired a warning shot, or just wounded them? Couldn’t you have retreated? The things you lost are only things, after all, and things can be replaced.”
Suddenly, the home invaders are no longer adults. They are now obstreperous children, possibly altar boys who just had a few bad breaks and were turning their lives around.
“And…the…defendant…slaughtered…them…like…cattle”
Yeah, it’s hyperbole, and I’m not saying roll over and die. Just be aware of the aftermath.

Amazing how all this “social-networking” is adding to the “rages” and flash-mob-mentality in Philly (as well as in many other cities)…!

Talk about an untapped source of cheap labor.
At least in a rowhome…they can only come in from TWO sides…less to defend.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of enforcement of laws against an ethnic minority since Mr. Obama came into power, and Mr. Holder took over at Justice? Seems that a certain portion of our populace think that no laws apply to them. However, the laws of physics dictate that the speeding mass of a jacketed hollow point will reinforce the theories of Darwin. Sometimes the herd needs thinning.
