Study: “Johns” More Likely To Commit Crimes

By Wyatt Earp | July 21, 2011

Ya hear that John D. and Jon Brooks? We’re on to you guys, and you better shape up or . . . Oh, the study says are more likely to commit crimes.

Disregard, guys! That is, unless you two are paying for sex . . .

Men who pay for sex are more likely than men who do not pay for sex to commit a variety of offenses including violent crimes against women, according to research conducted in the Boston area.

Men who paid for sex were more likely to report having committed felonies and misdemeanors, including crimes related to violence against women and those related to substance abuse, assault and weapons, the study found.

In an unrelated story, Nicolas Cage’s son was just arrested for domestic violence.

Hey!!! I only go for the marked down sales, like ’round the world’ for $9.99. Psst..lately $.02 worth of vasoline and my right hand are my only expenditures. although lately that song…”That mule, Old Rivers and me” sounds pretty good.

OK, after decades (centuries?) of indignities, I ask on behalf of all Johns (and Jons), can we please use another name to designate the patrons of prostitutes? How about Steve, can we call them “Steves?” And while we’re at it, bathrooms should henceforth be known as “Freds.”

On the subject of paying for sex: I’m married and have two teenaged children. In other words, I pay for sex every day. Mind you, I’m not having sex every day, but I’m paying for it.

Jon – Wow, that comment is just chock full o’ TMI. Bravo!

John D. – Like I’ve said before: we ALL pay for sex.

John D – We could adopt what the British call them…Loo’s. Come to think of it though, I would hate to be around Lou Forigno and say that. Yup ‘Steve’s’ sound good.

A sexually active young man is stuck in an Oklahoma oil exploration camp at the turn of the century. The nearest town is by law dry and there are no women for 200 miles. Every weekend though he still inquires at the hotel for avaliable women only to be told there are none but he could avail himself of ‘Old Wong the Chinaman”, to which he replies that ‘he is not into that kind of stuff. Finally his
frustration reaches a fever pitch and he asks how much would Old Wong want, and is told $200 dollars by the manager.

“Two hundred dollars” he exclaims, “why so much?”

    To which the manager responds:

“That’s for Ted and Fred to hold him down, you see Old Wong isn’t to crazy about that kind of stuff either.”

As I said before, I’ve always been “buy-sexual.” Any sex I got, I had to buy. (Dinner and a movie while single. Then it really got expensive when I said, “I do.”)

It’s not as though we women don’t pay for sex. Every day in a million little ways. Truth be told, we all pay regardless of gender. As you said, Wyatt “We all pay”.
