Former Eagles QB Kolb Speaks His Mind

By Wyatt Earp | July 30, 2011

And *gasp* he joked that Philly is a dirty city. It’s not a joke, Kevin; this town is filthier than Snooki’s cooter.

Former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Kevin Kolb reportedly remarked to the Arizona press that he liked Phoenix because it was a clean area, unlike Philadelphia. He said he was impressed by the Phoenix area and the Cardinals when he was there for the NFC title game, and liked how clean the area was.

“Granted, I was coming from Philadelphia,” Kolb added as he reportedly smiled.

I suspect hundreds of drunken, illiterate Eagles fans will be burning Kolb in effigy today. The ironic part of this is that he’s right. I’ve been to Phoenix, and it is much, much cleaner than Philadelphia.

Although I’m not an Eagles fan, I feel bad for Kolb. He never got a real shot here, and was benched for a scumbag felon with little talent and a big mouth.

Nothing wounds quite so seriously as the truth. Large population centers like Philadelphia are disgusting and will be the first to erupt in flames when the Parasites don’t get their continuing rations of Free Cheese, free tattoos, free Baby Daddy child care, etc etc etc. Chicago, Detroit, Los Angeles — all lost.

Philly, New York, Boston?? I will never get why anyone who has the means stays there. Even Wyatt knows he would leave if he could. But Philly mandates their cops live in the city. (Freedom started here?) Every time I have to go into the city, I look forward and thank God I can leave!
I will miss Kevin Kolb, I think he was the real deal and he handled all the Donovan and Vick issues with class and humility. I wish for him serious good luck in Arizona!

Kolb is kind of a lunkhead (but still, far brighter than Mike Vick!) but wow, he’s on the nose here.

I remember going to Phoenix for work when I was young and lived in Center City – I walked into a normal supermarket and was ready to start crying. Wide aisles! Selection! Low prices! A zillion options WE DON’T HAVE IN PA BECAUSE OF UNIONS!

    BEER AND WINE!!!!!

I’ll never forget that damned supermarket. I was like Robin Williams in that immigrant movie I forget the name of.

And Philly is really dirty too. Imagine if we DIDN’T have those blue-jacketed cleaning dudes (paid for by the shops, privately, btw)

    LDIV – Sadly, no.

GroovyVic – I only wear black and gold for the Pens.

BZ – And we’re closer to Detroit’s fate than the people here want to admit.

Danny – Actually, as of January 1, 2012, police officers can move out of the city. Luckily for me, I just spent $100,000 on a house renovation.

Orchid – My mom had a pretty good line last night. After signing that thug Vince Young – and pursuing the other thug Plaxico Burress – this team should be renamed the Philadelphia Jailbirds.

Wyatt we’re like the new Oakland Raiders all of a sudden.

should be good for some popcorn-watching tho, I’m no homer (as clearly you are not either!)

Am sad the Vikes (who I like a lot!) picked up Don tho. Eh, maybe he’ll suddenly show something, who knows.

Orchid – Exactly. Just because Andy Reid’s sons are felonious thugs, does that mean we have to sign every felonious thug in the league now?
