Dems Propose $1.1 Trillion Spending Bill

By Wyatt Earp | December 15, 2010

Hope you guys like bacon, because there’s a ton of pork in this disgrace, too.

And that’s not to mention the nearly 2,000-page, $1.1 trillion massive spending bill Senate Democrats said they’ll try to push through. The bill contains hundreds of pork-barrel spending projects and new rules governing everything from airport baggage to detainees at the prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

“We’re not through. Congress ends on Jan. 4,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Nevada Democrat.

The omnibus spending bill is likely to get the most attention, spanning 1,924 pages and spending an average of $575.13 million per page. It stands in contrast to the House, which last week passed a streamlined bill freezing fiscal 2011 government spending at 2010′s level. The Senate bill, though, boosts spending by $16 billion.

So, the voters sent the Democrats a message on November 2nd, and they respond with this – a legislative f**k you. How’s that make you feel, guys? It enrages me, especially because a lot of these Dems are screwing us before they leave office. In my opinion, the GOP should respond to this as follows.

I don’t give a rat’s ass if every Republican spends their holidays in the Capitol. Stay there and fix this, or we’ll be coming for you during the next election cycle.

If they don’t get a handle on this crap soon, they may not have to wait for the next election cycle. I don’t have much trouble envisioning the peasants showing up on Capitol Hill with torches and pitchforks.

John D, I’m glad I’m not the only one envisioning politicians at the ends of a noose. (Okay, how do you pluralize that, anyway?)

If they keep this crap up, I can envision the backswing becoming very bad. Think of term limits, no pensions, and a moratorium on working in any political or lobbying job for x amount of time after leaving office.

They keep forgetting that the only power they really have is what we allow them to use, and we can take it back from them if we’re angry enough. I think we’re almost angry enough.

    Amen, Brother!

Howdy Wyatt – why on earth would we be coming after the Republicans during the next election cycle? Other than the usual suspects like Snowe and Collins?
It’s the effin’ DEMOCRATS that are pulling this shit.

Let’s get the torches and pitchforks and go after THEM.

Collins, Castle, Snow, Voinovich, all the bitter lame GOPpies are helping them right out.

NEVER use the phrase “But he’s electable” to me again! Being “electable” to the enablers of this sewer is an a priori disqualification.

What do you call an Islamofacist who wants to hang the infidel?

    A Nooselimb

“Give them nothing, but take from them everything?” Seriously? Wyatt, don’t tell Congress that: you might give them an idea!

Personally, if I was running things, scumbags who abused public monies like these clowns do would be put up against a wall and given a blindfold.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but didn’t we fight a war over this already? WTF has happened to this country?

John D – Can we issue mass recalls?

PhillipC – I think we are, too. And we’ll only get angrier if this debacle passes.

Joated – And we’ll force you to accept term limits!

Real – I want them, but I want GOP waverers as well. Any Republican that votes for this thing should be targeted for political retirement.

Jon – That really is your favorite act now, isn’t it?

John D – You mean, Ol’ Rusty?

Rick – The rack could thin out a lot of these pork-eatin’ bastards.

Dusrtvet – Mmm . . . cake! But then, we’ll have Mamma Obama after us.

Richard – Agreed. This is what we would have had with Castle. O’Donnell didn’t win, but she cleared the Beltway of that spineless toad.

    Jon – Nice.

Raptor – We got lazy and stopped caring about politics. Look where that got us.

Got the ‘nooselimb’ idea from the Iranians who have just said they are going to kidnap and hang American Generals for the killing of their nuke scientists. Good luck with that ImaDinnerjacket.

    Tar. Feathers. Congressional Democrats.

    Some assembly required.

(For Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi, substitute “rope” and “tree” – if not impalement stakes – for the tar and feathers…)

Jon – Thye should give them a medal. Either them or the Israelis – whomever’s responsible.

Wes S. – Judging from what Pelosi and Reid look like, stakes may be necessary. They are the undead.

Roger – Knuckleheads. They learned nothing from November.

Should work JUST AS WELL with POLITICIANS!
