Joe Biden: Spin Doctor Or Blatant Liar?

After reading this nonsense, I think “liar” is appropriate here. Of course, I expect you will make your own decisions.
After watching their stimulus package fail to stimulate and an increasing number of Americans wondering whether President Barack Obama has the first clue on economics, Vice President Joe Biden steps back into the fray to rescue his partner. In a New York Times op-ed, Biden argues that voters have misunderstood Porkulus. It wasn’t intended to deliver a big “jolt” to the economy, Biden says — apparently forgetting what he himself said last month:
Notwithstanding this progress, the nature of the Recovery Act remains misunderstood by many, and misconstrued by others: critics have suggested that the entire $787 billion is being spent on pet programs. As the person leading the administration’s efforts to put the Recovery Act into effect, I want to set the record straight. …
The care with which we are carrying out the provisions of the Recovery Act has led some people to ask whether we are moving too slowly. But the act was intended to provide steady support for our economy over an extended period — not a jolt that would last only a few months.
Oh, I get it. We’re all too stupid to understand the Recovery Act. Is that it, Joe? We peons just don’t have the cranial capacity to understand the administration’s spooky fiscal powers? Moron.
Biden says that the administration’s progress has been right on target. Yet Biden just three weeks ago today told ABC News that the White House had misread the economy. (H/T – Hot Air)
Okay, is everyone angry and confused yet? This is what I think is going on here:
Obama’s poll numbers are plummeting, while Cap and Trade and ObamaCare are ridiculously unpopular pieces of legislation. ObamaCare is the cornerstone of the administration’s syllabus, and if it is defeated, it will be seen as a major failure. The administration is now in panic mode, and they are trying to say and do whatever it takes to sway public opinion back to their side.
So, they send out genius Joe Biden to clarify their policies, and he thinks that he can garner public support simply with the power of his words. Unfortunately, no one trusts Crazy Joe, especially after he is seen flip-flopping on comments he made just a few weeks ago. The man has zero credibility, which is evidenced in this article.
Like Michelle Obama during the election, it is time to sit Biden on the bench for a while. He is certainly not helping to further Obama’s cause.

Pssssst..Wyatt..don’t give them any hints:) LOL He just might be the best player we have, just like we used to say as kids about the other teams quarterback who threw to many interceptions or like their halfback who fumbled the ball every time he ran. So I agree with Doghouse, he’s doing a bang up job.
Here’s a fun question for all: If Joe Biden were a cartoon charachter..who would he be? My choice would be..Goofy. Waaa Hooo Hooo

I know this is an old, old cliche but so true in Joe’s case. He couldn’t find his arse with both hands if he was sitting on them. That man needs someone to be a handler. Handler of the muzzle and he needs to keep it on Joe if he is awake. Joe has never met a microphone he doesn’t love but has yet to figure out the mic is not his friend.

They tried to give Joe something he’s supposed to be ‘good’ at; that is foreign policy.
Of course he’s just pissing off the Russians, by being ‘Joe Biden, International Court Jester’.
Oh, Well. Give Joe a break. Joe’s antics are like smelling salts, to shake off the narcotic effect of Obamanoxide poisoning.
