Thank You For Smoking

Thank You For Smoking Poster

Gee, I’m not the biggest fan of smoking, either – except the occasional fine cigar – but this guy went a tad over the line.

ENSEN BEACH – A man was charged with domestic battery after he drenched his wife with a garden hose and attacked her for smoking in the house, according to a police report.

The altercation began Saturday evening when the victim entered the couple’s residence in the 1400 block of Northeast Chardon Street while smoking a cigarette.

The affidavit says the victim’s husband, John Jeffrey Murray, 51, began yelling at her about smoking in the house and sprayed her with the hose.

According to the affidavit, he hit the victim in her mouth with his elbow during the struggle. (H/TDrudge)

Now, I’m no marriage counselor, but maybe John Murray could have just asked his wife to step outside? Thank you, that’ll be $300 for the consultation.

    Weird.

Good for him; he should have punched her in the mouth too, just because.

Does he smack her around when his dinner isn’t on the table by 5:20? Good for him, it probably keeps her in line, much like an elbow to the mouth. And it’s all her fault, he wouldn’t have to do those things if she didn’t make him so mad.

RT – In a funny kind of way.

Randal – Well, he did give her the Dusty Rhodes bionic elbow.

Mrs. Crankipants – See? We agree! :)

He needed to do something physical to get that 0.00000000002 grams of secondhand smoke out of his lungs before it killed him?

    “And it’s all her fault”

It is her fault. He told her not to smoke in the house and she gave him the big FU. He should have chopped her head off with a dull spoon.

    Jon – Now, that’s a good defense!

Randal – Yeah, but that would take so much time . . .

Seriously though, my wife got that and worse from her first asshole husband for smoking and yes, late dinner, a sideways glance, etc. The abuser will invent an excuse if one’s not handy. Sadly though, she’ll forgive him and he’ll apologize….till the next time. I really hate these assholes.
