“Gorgeous Girl Syndrome?”

Are you frakkin’ kidding me? People are trying to play this up as a physical/psychological disorder now?
What about the victims of the victims? Many of the victims of GGS never dated me in high school, and that caused me to suffer from low self-esteem and overeat. Where is my article?
WAS THE 20-year-old Russian model’s apparent suicide Saturday a case of yet another beautiful woman having achieved too much career success too soon?
Did Ruslana Korshunova fall victim to what I call the gorgeous girl syndrome in which high-profile models or actresses are so worshiped for their external attributes that no one, including themselves, tends to what’s going on inside? (H/T – The Philadelphia Daily News)
Ya know, this might actually be a serious problem, and we should attempt to locate other festering psychological issues that plague our citizens. For example, I suffer from FFSBS – Formerly Fat Sarcastic Bastard Syndrome. It causes me to suffer night sweats when I dream of sugary sweets, and to lash out at the incredibly stupid with sarcastic slings and arrows.
I need help, people!

So, I’ll go from self-loathing because I’m fat, continually judged, and ignored to self-loathing and suicidal when I am a lean 5’10″, stacked hottie?

“Gorgeous Girl Syndrome” – I have that. It’s tough being beautiful, but I get by.
Oh, and I’m 100% comfortable with my sexuality.
