Obama Kicks Sand Into America’s Face

By Wyatt Earp | December 26, 2009

Oh, this is just freakin’ unbelievable.

The president feels your pain. The country is experiencing the worst recession since the Great Depression. The unemployment rate is at a 26 year record high at 10.0%. But, that didn’t stop the Obama family from renting an $8.9 million Hawaiian mansion for the holidays. (H/TGateway Pundit)

Barack Hussein Obama: Typical hypocrite politician.

Shouldn’t this have been reported on Lives Of The Rich and Famous? What was the name of the British guy who used to do that show?

    AJ; Robin Leach.

This man doesn’t give a shit, he’s not paying for a thing, we tax-payers are….

They rented that one at $4000 a night plus the two houses next door for family and friends?! Good thing that silver spooned spoiled rich kid W. is not longer in office so we don’t have to put up with his antics.

The place he rented in Martha’s Vineyard went for something like $35- 50,000 a week. At four grand a night, $28 K /a week is bargain hunting next to Obama’s Excellent Summer Vacation!
The fact that the country is in recession and unemployment is through the roof, America still needs to see that its CinC is pampered, well tended and out of touch with the experiences of the peasants.

I have seen this numerous times in my 50 years where an unqualified idiot reaches a position of power and just goes stupid with spending and crazy projects.

AJ – He would be on Lifestyles of the Rich and Infamous.

Teetop – Maybe we can spend the week in the White House since he won’t be there?

Ingineer66 – Yeah, he usually went to his own home in Texas.

Proof – Like his assistants, Obama is practically a Czar.

Rob – But remember, GWB was the worst. /snark.

$4,000 a night. Times 365 nights a year. Times 8 years (you can see where we’re going here…).
How much was spent on remodeling/refurbishing/security upgrades at the Crawford Ranch over 8 years? Plus Secret Service? Plus staff? Plus the frequent comings and goings and extended stays?
Want to take a wild guess?
$11,680,000 doesn’t even come close. And Bush’s stays at Crawford totaled just 2 years out of the 8 years. Want to average the total over 2 years instead of 8?
Go ahead, google it. I look forward to that post, and how “freakin’ unbelievable” it is.
But then, you probably already did that post, you not being a “Typical hypocrite”, and can link us to it.

Scott – Wow, long time, no speak! Good to know you’re still a loyal, avid reader, what with perusing every post here. Or are you just trolling about? With five comments in the past year it must be the latter. You really have the pulse of this blog. However, if you can’t find a post here that is critical of President Bush, then you aren’t looking hard enough. Heh, heh, “hard.”

How about this? You come back with the totals after Obama’s eight years, and we’ll compare and contrast? Because even a California liberal like you should realize that comparing the two after one year is completely unfair, right? If it was not, we could assume that Obama’s final unemployment numbers would be what, 80 percent? Hell, his approval numbers would be approaching Herbert Hooverville. And with the current state of the California economy, pretty soon even you will be jumping off the Obama bandwagon.

That cost is just for the rent of one of the 3 houses. Which did not need to be paid in Crawford. All of the security costs are the same or higher because of the “increased” danger that Obama is in since everyone loves us so much now that he is President.
