Epic FAIL

Dude.
Ya know, it’s bad enough that a lot of people and most of the media despise police officers, but now they are going to give out money when one of us is shot? What the frak?
Reader Chris Kuhner sent me this, and after I was finished wrapping me head in duct tape, I had to ask myself a question:
Was this an honest mistake or a cruel, cruel joke? I’m guessing a little from Column A and a little from Column B.

It looks like the Star Ledger. Maybe it is an article about cops being rewarded if they are shot? (Compensation?)

It probably refers to the establishment of a reward fund to pay people for info leading to the arrest of dirtbags who shoot cops. Poorly worded for sure, but I wouldn’t take it personally. Judging by the crap shoveled by the ignorant buffoons who staff most newspapers these days, it should come as no surprise. Apparently, they don’t bother to teach English in journalism shools any more. I don’t think math, economics, and logic aren’t on the curriculum either.
