Mississippi Criminal Is A Hall Of Fame Moron
By Wyatt Earp | May 21, 2009

Doghouse sent me this story, and I am just now getting over the brain aneurysm. Apparently, stupid criminals are not limited to the Philadelphia area. Observe:
RIDGELAND, MS (WLBT) - A Jackson man has been found guilty of the armed robbery of the Drury Inn in Ridgeland.
It happened in January of 2007. Walter Tard passed a note to a clerk in the Drury Inn lobby demanding $5 thousand.
He got away with only $92. Also, the note he left behind was on a job application to an auto parts store. Authorities were able to track him down through the store where he was applying for a job. (LINK)
I don’t want to be more insensitive than I already am, but I don’t think it is a coincidence that this man’s last name is “Tard.”

What are the chances his middle name is Ray?
Walter Ray Tard.
Gotta nice ring to it, really.

I’m surprised he had the wherewithal to successfully fill out a job application. Kind of depressing to think he’s being convicted of armed robbery for a mere $92, he’ll be a laughingstock in the big house.

“Crime makes you stupid.” Dan Simon, author of Homicide 1991.
Best quote on criminals that I have ever heard.

Loaded….I think the stupid part was in play long before the criminal part kicked in.

Some names just tell the whole story.
