“Weinergate” Heads To Top Of News Cycle

By now you may have heard about “Weinergate” – Rep. Anthony Weiner’s (D-NY) Twitter gaffe. Weiner, who recently married one of Hillary Clinton’s Senate aides. “allegedly” sent a photo of his wiener to a 21-year old college student through his Twitter account. Sadly, the dumbass made a mistake and accidentally sent the lewd photo (above) out to all 40,000 of his Twitter followers. Now, after making unbelievable excuses and implausible denials, Weiner pulls it out: the anger card, I mean.
[I]t was clear that Weiner was no longer interested in saying anything more about the matter. And the more that CNN reporter Dana Bash and her producer Tom Barrett pushed, the more animated Weiner became – especially when asked, over and over again, to deny whether he had sent the photo, a crotch-level shot of a man in underwear. He was also asked repeatedly why he had not asked the police or the FBI to investigate the matter.
“You want to do the briefing?” Weiner snapped at Barrett. “Why don’t you let me do the answers and you do the questions?” Finally he called Barrett, who continued to press him on the subject, a “jackass.”
A short, detailed timeline of the events , but to be honest, Ace at Ace of Spades HQ did all of the legwork on this story. He ran down leads, interviewed some of the parties involved – including the college student who received the photo – and posted update after informative update all weekend long. To date, the Drudge Report has barely mentioned the story, and even big-time radio hosts like Rush Limbaugh have avoided the scandal. Pretty lame.
That’s okay guys, AoSHQ is on it. When the truth comes out – that Weiner was sending pics of his junk to co-eds, lying about a crime (by saying his account was hacked), and tweeting with a high school girl – you better give Ace all of the credit.
UPDATE, 6/6: Weiner just held a press conference, admitting the photo – and others – are of him. He apologized to everyone, threw out some fake tears, but refused to resign. Shocka!

Normally, I’m kinda a good natured guy, like that retarded kid you see at the ice cream shop.
But the way some of our “conservative betters” tried to kneecap ace over this issue really, really had me steamin’ mad.
JPod went back and forth with ace over this on twitter.
Anyway, afterwards, I was so pissed of that I ranted about JPod being a “c*cksucker” and I wasn’t being ironic or anything like that.
I was freakin’ furious.
When even CNN is covering this story with more rigor and perseverance than NRO and what not…
Man…
Like I said, I don’t lose my temper often on the internet.
But I sure as heck did then.

Seriously though, ace put in sooooo much work into developing this story.

Then he wants to show her what she’s doing to his Little Bit. OOPS! mistype! misfire! And the whole world knows about his . . . shortcomings.

This story has me motivated to follow Michele Bachmann on Twitter in the hope that she’ll accidentally send me a revealing pic of herself. But I’m sure she’s not as inept as little Weiner-dog, so I’m not holding my breath.

Real – Story is now too big to ignore – thanks in part of Ace.
Ed – he really did, and when this story comes to a head – heh – no conservative writers will give him the credit he deserves.

Anthony Wiener (D-Dongflasher) will come out and say “He’s gay” the picture was sent by his lover under his twitter login on accident. He was trying to protect his lover and his secret.
This will be a win win for Wiener and the Democrats. Wiener will get the GLBT folks in his corner, Democrats will circle the wagons and blame the homophibic nature of “RightWing” America for his shame…
