Playboy Pics Cost Cheerleader Her Job

By Wyatt Earp | February 12, 2011

There’s just something about Mississippi girls.

Maybe it’s the super hot southern accent. Maybe it’s the southern hospitality ingrained in most of them. Or maybe it’s that they just make really good college cheerleaders.

Of course, they also seem to make pretty good Playboy models, too.

Now, most universities frown upon Playboy Playmates occupying slots on their athletic squads. I guess it’s because people only really care about the cheerleader who posed nude. Either way, Taylor Corley was told she needed to decide: the team or the magazine. Guess what she chose?

A nude pictorial in Playboy ended the cheerleading career for a Mississippi State freshman.

“I am no longer cheering for (Mississippi) State,” Taylor Corley announced on a Memphis radio show. “Me and my coaches decided that it was either Mississippi State cheerleading or my Playboy career. Pretty much the decision was made for me that I was no longer going to be cheering for them.”

She posed under the alias Taylor Stone in the November 2010 issue, but classmates – and her cheerleading coaches – recognized her.

The girls must have recognized her, because the guys weren’t looking at her face.
