Karen Remsing: World’s Worst Mother

Parenting is hard. Like, really hard. It is an unappreciated skill that some parents can turn into an art form.
Then there are people like Karen Remsing. People who should never be allowed to watch a television show about children, let alone have some of their own. People who should have been sterilized at birth, and probably lobotomized shortly thereafter.
Do you remember that Texas mom who drowned her children? Yeah, Remsing is not that bad, but she is definitely in her league.
A Vancouver woman, visiting her terminally ill child at UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, was arrested over the weekend on charges she stole drugs from her son’s intravenous line and injected herself.
Karen Remsing, who turned 42 on Sunday, is charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment, theft, criminal mischief, and committing prohibitive acts including possession of the prescription medication. Pittsburgh police said Ms. Remsing temporarily disconnected a tube that had been providing a sedative to the boy, 15. (H/T – Cbullitt)
So, what should be this tool’s punishment? I am leaning toward razor sharp pieces of metal shoved into her pink parts. But don’t let me have all the fun, the floor is open.

Pathetic and very, very sick. Let see, my choice is death by slow moving, painful stomach cancer. No drugs to help her with the pain.

Wow..there really is no end to the totally immoral herd of people out there is there? Well to answer the challenge
of ‘fire away’..heh…since she was killing her son slowly by depriving him of drugs I suggest the Japanese death by 1000 cuts designed to be especially slow. Or something more American in nature like, ‘Death by BB gun’, which might take several hundred or several thousand rounds to accomplish, then like in Deadwood dump the remains in the hog pen.

As a former Houstonian who lived down the street from Andrea Yates and watched as the indictment and trial unfold, I disagree that Ms. Yates is worse than Karen Remsing. Yates was certifiably insane by prior diagnosis, was actually misdiagnosed and given the wrong psychotropic drugs when made her already fragile mental state worse. On top of that, her husband forced her to continue breed when doctors warned that she should not due to her psychosis and previous episodes of post-partum depression.
Oh, & did I mention Yates’ NASA engineer husband had her living on a school bus AND home schooling the kids?
On the other hand, this Remsing chick was simply a narcissistic druggy looking for her next fix and could not have cared less if her son was in pain.
The poor Remsing child will have to live for however long he has left knowing that his mother subjected him to unnecessary pain and did not care about his suffering.

So, she has puts her kid in a US Pittsburgh hospital to get fixed not a Vancouver, Canada hospital? Then comes to the US and takes her kid’s drugs from him?
jerry brown should be able to use her out here to get prop 19 on the ballot again.

I know Karen and she would lay down her life for her kids, I have worked with her for two years and she is a great mother, none of you know her, you only believe what you read and no nothing about the person, I would trust her with my daughter anytime
