Barack Obama: Broken Record

By Wyatt Earp | August 10, 2010

You know, if this idiot spent as much time trying to pull the country out of the recession as he did attacking George W. Bush, the Democrats wouldn’t have to worry about the November elections. As it stands, they are in deep trouble. I wonder why.

President Barack Obama attacked the economic policies of his Republican predecessor George W. Bush in Bush’s home state on Monday as evidence of the way Republicans would operate if given power in Nov. 2 U.S. congressional elections.

At a fund-raising event for Democrats in Dallas, where Bush now lives, Obama said the former president’s “disastrous” policies had driven the U.S. economy into the ground and turned budget surpluses into deficits. Obama defended his repeated references to Bush’s policies, saying they were necessary to remind Americans of the weak economy he inherited from Bush in January 2009.

“The policies that crashed the economy, that undercut the middle class, that mortgaged our future, do we really want to go back to that, or do we keep moving our country forward?” Obama said at another fund-raising event in Austin, referring to Bush’s eight years as president.

Has this man ever taken responsibility for anything?

Never mind that Obama’s economic policies have not exactly helped the recession. Never mind that the Democrats had control of both Houses since 2006. This terrible economy is all George W. Bush’s fault. Yeah, keep screwing that chicken, Barry.

No, Responsibility is not in his DNA. He is pretty pathetic.

Uh, excuse me here President Barry those were your policies, that crashed the economy, that undercut the middle class and that mortgaged our future.

So, the logical answer to this is to vote all of your Demoncrat Cronies out of office in November leaving you with a sense of being neutered and then have you voted out in the worst way since Jimmy Carter in 1980 leaving you feeling totally humilated.

At least that is my plan…

He is from Chicago, where everyone else is to blame for their problems.Like gun owners because of thugs running wild and kiling people.

To paraphrase Bubba’s “no attack ever fed a hungry child” -> No finger pointing ever created a job. (or solved any problem, for that matter.)

Obama is the “leader of the free world”, and blame is not a leadership trait; it’s a childish one.

For the most part, the Mighty Won has continued Bush’s policies, but with a vengence: TARP, “Stimulus”, war in Afghanistan/Iraq (and taking credit for the win W made via the Surge that The Won opposed), increasing the deficit (and we thought W spent like a drunken sailor!), and so forth. I do hope that all the dems ride barry’s coattails again in November. We should see quite a “CHANGE” next year. And maybe a little more hope.

Have you ever known a democrat pres. to NOT bash his predecesor? Have you ever known a Republican to do so? And they pretty much keep quiet after the fact too.

USAdmiral – This entire mess is not solely his fault, but he wants people to believe that none of it is his fault. That’s inexcusable.

Ferrell – My plan, too. Incumbents are gone in my book.

Fenway – We’re not even holding hands.

RAPH – Okay, that’s pretty funny.

    Rick – Paging Mayor Daley . . .

Bob – The know nothing suits him fine.

Smite – Say what you want about Clinton, even he didn’t blame other people for his problems. He just tried to charm them away.

Robert B – Some pundits are saying we’ll win the House, but not the Senate. If that happens, it would behoove the GOP to learn from their past mistakes and not frak up this chance.

tjbbpgobIII – Clinton didn’t do it. At least not in the way that Obama has done. It’s been almost two years. No one is buying the Blame Bush meme anymore.

I have come to the conclusion that “blame Bush” is code speak for “we don’t have any idea what we are doing”.

MeToo – Not working. A new poll out has an Unnamed Republican leading Obama 50-45. Ouch.
