Dorothy Krysiuk Is Back!

Unfortunately, most of us can’t see her smiling face in the morning because a New England-area commenter told me she is working in Tax-achusetts!
Here’s the answer to the “where is Dorothy Krysiuk?” question: She is back on the TV news, but you have to be in the Boston area to see her.
Krysiuk turned up this morning on Boston’s ABC station (WCVB) doing traffic. It’s a weekday gig.
Krysiuk and her blonde curls spent seven years on Fox29 before she and the station parted ways in October 2008. She was seen on NBC10 before that.
How popular was Dorothy in Philadelphia? My 2008 post noting her split with FOX29 is still my most active, with over 20,000 views and (as of this writing) 125 comments. It also earned me a lovely e-mail from Dorothy herself, thanking me for my support.
Her departure means that my city just got a little less attractive. Oh well, I guess Philly’s loss is Boston’s gain.

I have such a girl crush on Dorothy and was crushed not to see her beautiful face in the morning anymore, but I’m going to Boston this month and two of the days will be weekdays ! I’ll get to see her again, don’t be jealous Wyatt

Dorothy Krysiuk brought me here.
When she left Fox, I did a google search and one of the listings was Wyatt’s blog.
I thought it was interesting, and I bookmarked the site.
I do that all the time but I never have the time to go back and read all the stuff I save.
A coupla months ago I was cleaning things up a bit and re-discovered SYLG.
I always liked Dorothy.
She once wore the biggest belt buckle I ever saw.
Glad to hear she’s doing ok.

We call those babes, infobabes, down here in B’ham Al. In fact one of the radio guys, on one of the sports channels held a contest about once a year, to pick that years babe. I don’t know if they even do it anymore as I don’t listen to the show or even watch any network tv.
