Slim Pickens

Damn, so close.
After a decent week of Weight Watchers points counting and exercise, I was hoping to get below the “Mendoza Line.” Didn’t happen. However, I did manage to lose another pound this week, and I am sitting at the magic number of 200 pounds.
This is a “magic” number because it gets me within shooting range of 199. That’s important for my self-esteem. It is also a magic number because I am now a mere 4 pounds away from my lowest weight (196) in 15 years. If I can get to 195, I would be a happy, happy boy, and everything else would be low-fat gravy.
Until then, the work continues.

ehh, you’re fine at that weight, I wouldn’t worry about it.
if you’re still wanting to do more though – have you tried that diet Rush uses?

I guess wasting away to nothing never felt so good?

I once used fasting to lose about 45 lbs and this truly works. Eat a day then fast a day. Don’t eat anything special on your eating days, same food as you like or even what got you there to fatland. The trick is this cuts your calorie intake by 50% and your body stays on the burn calories like mad without your body going into the efficiency mode which it would, if you were to fast longer, say 3 or 5 or more days. You can even stuff yourself on eating days (as long as you dont eat 2 times as much as you would in a normal day) by eating say 1.5 or even 1.75 times as much, but still measured against time you are reducing calories. Coffee and tea and water were the only things I did on off days. Once you get into it its easy to fast for 1 day at a time repeatedly. It takes about a week not to feel more tired than normal after the fasting days.

RT – I am starting to think that I can get down to 180. That would be fan-freakin-tastic!
Smite – I haven’t, but I don’t want to look like the Olsen twins.
Admiral – Oh, I am still “something.” I still have a gut, but it’s getting smaller.
Jon – Maybe I’ll try that if I run into a plateau.
