Saudis Behead, Crucify Molester/Murderer
By Wyatt Earp | May 31, 2009
That little voice inside of me – I think that pesky “conscience” got out of the basement again – is telling me that this is wrong. The rest of me feels that if beheading and crucifying a child molester/murderer, I don’t wanna be right.
RIYADH, Saudi Arabia — Saudi authorities beheaded and crucified a man convicted of brutally slaying an 11-year-old boy and his father, the Interior Ministry announced.
According to the statement issued by the ministry Friday, shop owner Ahmed al-Anzi molested the boy and then strangled him with a length of rope. He then stabbed the boy’s father to death when the man came looking for his son.
He hid both the bodies in his shop, the statement said, adding that al-Anzi threatened police with a knife when they came to arrest him.
Al-Anzi had previously been convicted of sodomy and owning pornographic films, a crime in conservative Saudi Arabia.
Crucifying the headless body in a public place is a way to set an example, according to the kingdom’s strict interpretation of Islam. Normally those convicted of rape, murder and drug trafficking in Saudi Arabia are just beheaded.
London-based rights group Amnesty International criticized al-Anzi’s execution and crucifixion. (H/T – FOXNews)
Brutal? You bet your arse it is. Effective? I’ll bet it’s more effective than spending 40 years on death row – a policy that certain unnamed countries still employ.
*cough* America *cough*

Even a stopped watch is right twice a day, yeah? The Saudis may need to come out of the dark ages on a lot of matters, but sounds like they do have this one right. Now if they apply this equally to men who “marry” and rape 11-year-old girls, I’ll be more impressed.

Absolutely no chance what so ever. “The Perfect Man” married Aisha at 6 and consumated the marriage when she was 9. Everything Mohammed said and did is recorded and preserved and has the same status as the Koran.

Yeah, I am not holding my breath for it, Alan, but I can hope for the sake of all women- young and old- in Muslim countries that someone will eventually end the absolutely unconscionable oppression and abuse of females.

Don’t get me wrong, Dorkelina. I’m with you all the way.
It’s just I simply cannot see how it can happen with women regarded as property, their word in a court of law worth half of a man and with the example of their founder “The Perfect Man” Tm.
Get raped in an Muslim country and unless you have 4 witnesses to the very act you are likely to be accused of adultery and stoned. In Saudi Arabia, 2 dozen young girls escaping a burning building were pushed back in because they weren’t wearing outdoor clothes judged to be suitable. they all died, horribly, of course.

They did it in the wrong order.

Old NFO – And it makes the suspects easier to find. “We’re looking for a man with one hand . . . ”
RAPH – I finally found something to agree with the libs upon.
Dorkelina – You can say that again. 11? Puh-lease!
Alan B – Great to see a religion founded by a pedophile, huh?
Dorkelina – Don’t hold your breath – blue is not your color.
Alan B – Stoning. Now there’s a punishment that never really took off.
Echosix – Good point.

Islam dictates decapitation as excution. Rather then the sword & instant death Islamofacists perverted this into the gruesome sawing off with a knife.
The Saudis are not barbaric in there form of excution, the victim receives an instant but colorful death. What happens to the body is as irrevelent as an autopsy.

Stoning …
If you can escape before you die then you are let off.
Men are buried upto the waist. Women are buried up to the neck.
Figures …

serfer62 – And it makes for pretty good theater, too.
Alan B – I think that was the origin of the band, The Talking Heads. Ha!
