It's funny because it's true.
Good Lord! I know people who drink a lot at a wedding – See Also: Me, Fish, and Vinnie at Badger’s first wedding – but this is ridiculous!
TAIPEI – A Taiwanese groom died on his wedding day after having too much wine and beer to drink, police and local media said Monday.
The man, 35, an insurance company worker surnamed Wu passed out at home after drinking too much Saturday at a high-end restaurant in Taipei among more than 100 wedding guests, the Liberty Times reported.
“Everyone was having a great time,” said restaurant party organizer Linda Chien. “We don’t know what happened after that.” (H/T – )
I think I have an idea. The groom realized that he was actually married, and decided that drinking himself to death was preferable to staying with one woman forever.
What? I’m just sayin’.

The restaurant party organizer that uttered those lines is either a budding comedian, or has some other business besides party organizer to fall back on.

In England it is an offense for a licensee (the one licensed to sell alcohol) to sell to someone who appears to be drunk …
