Another Obama Pick Failed To Pay Taxes
By Wyatt Earp | April 1, 2009
For those of you keeping score at home, this is the sixth nominee who has either not paid their entire balance of what they owed the IRS, or simply failed to pay taxes at all.
Six nominees. Six!
Remember this when April 15th comes around. Obama’s tax cheat Treasury Secretary will ask you why you weren’t “patriotic” enough to pay your taxes. In response, you can read off the list of names - including Geithner’s - who were too busy to pay theirs.
Health and Human Services nominee Kathleen Sebelius recently corrected three years of tax returns and paid more than $7,000 in back taxes after finding “unintentional errors”—the latest tax troubles for an Obama administration nominee. The Kansas governor explained the changes to senators in a letter dated Tuesday that the administration released. She said they involved charitable contributions, the sale of a home and business expenses.
I would have more respect for these toads if they were just honest and said, “I forgot,” or “I didn’t think anyone would notice.” That’s better than this “unintentional errors” crap. No one’s buying it, and Sebelius shouldn’t be selling it.
Sebelius said she filed the amended returns as soon as the errors were discovered by an accountant she hired to scrub her taxes in preparation for her confirmation hearings. She and her husband, Gary, a federal magistrate judge in Kansas, paid a total of $7,040 in back taxes and $878 in interest to amend returns from 2005-2007.
So the Kansas governor and her FEDERAL MAGISTRATE JUDGE had no idea they owed three years’ worth of back taxes? Pardon my French, but they’re both fucking liars!
Several Obama administration nominees have run into tax troubles, notably the president’s first nominee for HHS secretary, former Senate Democratic leader Tom Daschle. He withdrew from consideration while apologizing for failing to pay $140,000 in taxes and interest.
Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus, D-Mont., quickly issued a statement supporting Sebelius. (H/T - Drudge)
And there it is. Far too many politicians are more concerned with covering their Party’s collective ass than doing the right thing. The right thing in this case would be for Democrats and Republicans to politely suggest that Sebelius withdraw her name from consideration.
How many tax cheats have to be nominated for positions within the Obama administration before the politicians, the media, and the public are sufficiently outraged?

I don’t want her back. She can go there and be with the rest of her kind. By the way, her husband won’t be joining her so he can complete his time on the bench and retire. MUD

Its still Hopen’ and Changen’, they hope they dont get caught before they change the laws for us. Simple.
Hell even the taliban look at shillary and call her a lunatic.
When I grew up I was taught that you cant look at one person in a group and define them all by the action of one. In the liberals case you can. Also in radical islam
you can take any one and extrapolate the rest. My new theory is..liberals = radical islam.. without the religion component.

MUD - They should both retire now, in my opinion.
Rick - His choices make a whole lot of errors, don’t they?
Doghouse - Yeah, because they know the Boss.
Alan B - Now, see? That’s just common sense talking!
Admiral - Not the change I was looking for.
Jeffro - And more sympathetic I cannot be.
Old NFO - I wonder if the IRS will buy that excuse when I give it to them?
Ky person - How dare you follow the letter of the law!
Jon - I wonder if Shillary paid her taxes?
