John Tavares’ Awesome Goal

By Wyatt Earp | December 27, 2008

John Tavares is the 18-year old star of the OHL’s Oshawa Generals. He is generally considered to be “the next Sidney Crosby,” and should be hitting the NHL next year. The NHL team lands the first overall draft pick in 2009 is going to be very happy, indeed.

“I was just trying to put the puck in the net and I felt that was the right thing to do,” Tavares said. “I had some hand-eye co-ordination and put it in.”

Tavares? LAX? Must have good genes in him. The Tavares name is second only to the Gait Bros in the NLL.

Dorkelina - It truly is. Great stuff.

RT - I loved Yzerman. Great talent, great person.

Trek - I thought he was related when I heard the name. The article confirmed it.
