More Voter Shenanigans

By Wyatt Earp | October 25, 2008

In Ohio? The Hell, you say!

Thirteen campaign workers for Barack Obama yesterday yanked their voter registrations and ballots in Ohio after being warned by a prosecutor that temporary residents can’t vote in the battleground state.

A dozen staffers - including Obama Ohio spokeswoman Olivia Alair and James Cadogan, who recently joined Team Obama - signed a form letter asking the Franklin County elections board to pull their names from the rolls.

The letter - a copy of which was obtained by palestra.net, a Fox News affiliate - came a day after prosecutor Ron O’Brien publicly urged out-of-state campaign workers for both Obama and John McCain to “examine your conscience” before the elections board beings begins opening absentee ballots today.

Earlier in the week, O’Brien spoke with lawyers for both camps and urged them to make sure their staffs met permanent-residency rules, or face possible felony charges. (H/T - LGF)

Obama’s Ohio campaign spokeswoman is a part of the fraud? Lovely. With all of the fraud going on in Ohio this year, how can anyone in good conscience even count the vote there? No matter who wins the battleground state, the other candidate will question the balloting, and rightly so.

I say eliminate Ohio from the election, and don’t let them back in until they clean up their act. Sorry GroovyVic and CUG, but your state is a disgrace.

Oh, and for the record, as of 1:30pm EDT, CNN has no mention of this story on their website. Zero. I am shocked and appalled.

As long as you don’t call ME a disgrace…!!!

I realize crap like this has been going on for longer than I’ve been alive, but the more I hear the more discouraged I get.

Kinda amazing that they can “take back” their illegal act!

Do you let the bad guys do that Wyatt? …..”I sorry Officer Wyatt. Here is the money I stole. Please tell the bank teller I am sorry I scared her so much she crapped her pants and almost had a heart attack”.

GroovyVic - Ohio is quickly becoming the New Chicago. Unreal. And your Secretary of State is doing nothing about it. Figures. She’s a hack . . . and will probably have a long life in government.

AJ - Oh, all the time. Actually, a ref at one of our hockey games did that. The guy tripped The Badger, and when he didn’t get a penalty, the ref told Badger, “Well, he said he was sorry.”

While I agree 100% that these people are disgusting, how many ACTUAL fraudulent votes have been cast in the Presidential election this year?

    I left PA for this????

Randal - Impossible to tell, but after the Ohio SecState admitted there are 200,000 unmatched registrations in the state, it’s quite possible that Ohio’s results will be forever tainted this year - no matter who wins.

Of course, if people had to show a valid ID before voting, a lot of these problems would be solved. Luckily for PA, we don’t have that problem.

GroovyVic - It’s not much better here, either. We have John Murtha.

NOT showing an ID, NOT having to be an actual resident, NOT having to be an actual citizen works FOR the Demorats in terms of votes. Therefore, those who object to ID, residency, true citizens, are themselves part of the fraud.

Well Rendell’s always been an idiot.

I just cannot get my head around how having to actually show ID that PROVES you live somwhere is discriminitory…

BZ - At my polling place, you just have to give your name and sign the register. That’s it. It’s unreal.

Randal - You can say that again. If this douche spent as much time running the state as he does on Eagles Post Game Live, PA would be a better place to live.

Old NFO - He said that it would discourage people from voting. Guy is a giant tool.

Showing a Picture id would prevent the dead from voting also. And we know how inportant dead folks can be. Just ask Lyndon Johnson. Oh wait he is dead also. A new DemocRat voter.
