Colts Cheerleader Fired For Playboy Pics

By Wyatt Earp | May 15, 2011

Former Colts cheerleader Malori Wampler is now suing the team, because she claims she was fired because of her race. Yeah, good luck with that.

Malori Wampler, a former cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts, is suing for discrimination after the team fired her for being photographed for Playboy. The 27-year-old told the Indianapolis Star she was canned in November after a fan sent the organization pictures of her wearing nothing but a painted-on bikini – but Wampler is claiming it wasn’t the questionable photos that had her out of a job.

Wampler, who is Indonesian, claimed in the suit she was fired because of her race. According to pictures posted on the Colts’ website, all of the other cheerleaders appear to be Caucasian.

She was fired because of her race? Honey, you’re Indonesian; hardly a race that suffers from widespread discrimination in this country. Just resign yourself to the fact that the Colts drop-kicked you because you showed everyone your hoo-hoo-nanny.

UPDATE: Proof found the photo. Obviously, it’s NSFW.

These cheerleader sign morality clauses. They know the rules.
She can now get a job at a call center.

The Colts should be sued for leaving Baltimore in the dead of night, but that aside, how can we judge the merit of this young lady being fired for Playboy pics without seeing those pics, Wyatt???

Howdy Wyatt! Uh, hold on a sec, there, I don’t know about the racist charge, but from your link:
“Her attorneys claim her appearance in Playboy did not violate the team’s policy which forbids them from committing “any act that will or may create notoriety” – especially since Wampler claims the organization knew she posed for Playboy when she was hired.

“Prior to the time she was hired, she was forthcoming to the Colts about her affiliation with Playboy,” Wampler’s attorney, Kimberly Jeselskis, said Wednesday. “They said that wasn’t an issue, that wasn’t something they were concerned with, so they hired her to be a cheerleader. She’s had no further affiliation with Playboy since before she started cheering.”
So if her attorney is to be believed, the Playboy photos were done BEFORE she became a Cheerleader and the Colts KNEW she’d posed for Playboy and had no problems with it.
[G'head, insert cheap lawyer jokes here, I'll wait........]
But, again, if her attorney is correct, then why did the Colts fire her?

Racist? An Indonesian crying racist? I spent a year in Jakarta and had to deal with one of the rudest (to foreigners, especially white ones) societies on the planet. I wonder if she ever uttered the phrase, “Di anchuk, bule” to a caucasian. Since this is a family blog, I won’t translate it.

Danny – Thank you, come again!

Proof – Google them and let me know if you find anything better than the above photo. I didn’t, and I spent a good half hour looking.

Real – They obviously fired her for something, but I doubt race played a role.

Smite – Again, I looked. I found Duck Bupkis.

Robert B. – Silly man, whites can’t the victim of racism!!!
