Children, The Jet Bus Is Here!

By Wyatt Earp | August 7, 2010

You should arrive at school in exactly 6.5 seconds.

A motoring enthusiast has built a bus capable of hitting more than 350mph. The yellow American-style school bus has been fitted with a jet engine from a Phantom fighter plane, allowing it to reach up to 367mph.

Paul Stender and his team from Indy Boys Inc, based in Indianapolis, USA adapted the bus which uses a full tank of 150 gallons of fuel in just one quarter-mile run.

Mr Stender’s creation, which he has dubbed ‘The School Time Jet-Powered School Bus’, also fires out 80 foot flames from the back creating massive clouds of smoke.

Otto Mann was unavailable for comment, as he was awash in his own drool.

I could just see my little blue-haired old lady who drove us to school back in the sixties, sitting in the driver’s seat, looking at us in the mirror, and telling us to “slow down.” May she rest in peace, where there are no little obnoxious brats to be found.

I guess this can be Obama’s backup vehicle for getting around D.C. 600 gallons/ mile? Why that’s econo-friendly in his world.

He forgets to factor in the Blvd’s red light cameras and I-95′s snail-pace morning movement,….

At 350mph, that bus would be a blur if caught by a Blvd. red light camera.

Old NFO – Yeah, it looks like it’s the shiznit.

    Allen – Oh, most definitely.

Robert B. – She probably would have loved this.

LFH – And it has enough room for the Secret Service detail.

B.A. – He’ll just drive over them like a monster truck.

    Wagonsux – It’s win-win!

McCaniac – I never laughed so hard at a political ad before. I think he’s mental.

Aunt Noreen – They can leave five minutes before first bell and still be early.
