Obama To Limit Use Of Nuclear Weapons

By Wyatt Earp | April 6, 2010

Apparently, he would also limit them in the case of self-defense. In those instances, Obama stated he would respond with “a series of graded options.” Well, that’s good, because nothing scares a terrorist like a series of graded options.

The mind simply reels, kids.

President Obama said Monday that he was revamping American nuclear strategy to substantially narrow the conditions under which the United States would use nuclear weapons. But the president said in an interview that he was carving out an exception for “outliers like Iran and North Korea” that have violated or renounced the main treaty to halt nuclear proliferation.

Mr. Obama described his policy as part of a broader effort to edge the world toward making nuclear weapons obsolete, and to create incentives for countries to give up any nuclear ambitions. To set an example, the new strategy renounces the development of any new nuclear weapons, overruling the initial position of his own defense secretary.

For the first time, the United States is explicitly committing not to use nuclear weapons against nonnuclear states that are in compliance with the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty, even if they attacked the United States with biological or chemical weapons or launched a crippling cyberattack.

According to the article, this boneheaded move is meant to convince Russia to implement a similar plan. Good luck with that. The president is assuming that we can trust the Russians – the same people who enjoy terrific relations with Iran, who blissfully invaded Georgia a little over a year ago, and who claimed they have the right to launch preemptive nukes to safeguard their country against outside threats.

If the president wants to set an example vis a vis nuclear weapons, he can do so by eliminating their construction and scaling back some of our arsenal. What you don’t do is tell the world that we won’t be using them. Obama needs to understand that if you remove the threat of nukes, you embolden those who fear them.

Okay for the purposes of this posting lets assume I am “Joe the Terrorist”.

I have studied Afghanistan and seen what levels of force have been used there, based on what their response was to the violence perpetrated on the USA homeland, the Great Satan of all Satans, by Al-kinda. Seven buildings destroyed, 3,000 American infidel casualties, a 1 trillion hit to their economy, never mind the damage being done to themselves lately by themselves, and I see basically a conventional war upon our brave mujaha’dems’, so our using these neat nifty infidel killing bio-bugs to kill many hundreds of thousands of them will yeild a situtation bascially no different from what we are fighting now.
And they haven’t beat us yet!! PRAISE ALLAH!!!
Obambi is really on our side!!! Now the tongue twilling
    would begin.

Okay back to “NUKE all the Terrorists” Brooks now….
they now have a win-win situation, and if they can get control of Pakistan and its nukes, coordinate with another party to launch a few cyber attacks in conjuntion with timed EMP’s at critical military and civilian points …but weaken us first with major biowar attacks..we are cooked. And obambi knows it. Better start learning arabic peeps:) LOL

Barack Obama needs to be president of Fantasyland. His whole worldview just doesn’t apply in the real world.

Yup, as I said on another blog, thank God we didn’t get that inexperienced dumb broad Palin in there.

I’ve been out of touch with the electronic world while camping in the Ozarks. No internet, no cell, no TV, no radio. No nothing. I want to go back there now. I was much happier when I didn’t know about this and the biggest threat was coyotes, black bears, wasps, and ticks.

I just don’t understand how people who are his age, and with a little life experience (armed with examples from history, no less) can be so stinking naive. Dumb.

Obama is just learning on the job. Unfortunately, at the same time, we are learning how incompetent and naive Obama is.

The Kenyan borne citizen of Indonesia has declared open season on the citizens of the United States. 70 years of carefully crafted political and military philosophy has been scrapped and the lives of 300 million men women and children have been declared expendable.

Buy food, weapons, maps, and develop an escape plan from the cities. We are in danger.

    I, for one will fight.

Wait, I’m sorry, I thought exposing military strategy and secrets constituted high treason. Isn’t that a crime? That we used to shoot people for?

I guess the first graded option could be , laughing gas attacks. First they release a weaponized virus that kills a few million of us and then we hit em with the gas so they can get a good laugh out of it.

Jon – Exactly the problem. He assumes terrorists won’t be using nukes – only nations will. That’s not 21st Century thinking.

John D – President of Harvard. No real life there.

Robert B – An overdose of HopeyChange?

USMC8511 – Yeah, what a frakkin’ nightmare that would be!

Captain – I was speechless, too.

    Ingineer66 – Don’t, that’ll probably be taxed next.

Kim – Take me, take me!

RT – It’s like he purged the Cold War out of his mind.

AJ – Foreign policy knowledge. It’s important if you want to POTUS.

1oldleg – Did you see that video of Michelle claiming that Barack’s “home country” was Kenya? WTF??

JT – And they hate it when they are sent to their room.

Raptor – He’s been doing that for two years now. Lord, how much did he release on the CIA’s secret prisons?

Jon – I think our response should be carpet bombing. Literally. I want to drop rugs on their country.

Didn’t people listen to his speeches? He told us everything he wanted to do and his view of everything from healthcare to green energy to no nukes and closing GITMO. He and his cohorts have an agenda and they are doing their level best to force it on the rest of us. I didn’t vote for this liberal community organizer but I am fairly certain there must be quite a bit of voter’s remorse going on about now by many independents. We will be lucky if he doesn’t get us all killed. And of course we now have Paul Volker talking about the VAT to pay for all these entitlement programs. Might have to consider packing up and moving to Europe since that is obviously the direction we are headed as a nation.

MeToo – Sadly no, people didn’t listen to him during the election. It’s not like he didn’t warn us.

JWF has an article about how the Democrats are going to “Run against George Bush Again” this next election cycle, blaming all on him, of course. So when we see our family and friends faces start to glaze over with that zombie democratic stare, you know the ones who voted for obambi because they hated Bush and thus didn’t vote for McCain and Palin, we need to slap them back to reality:) LOL

Jon – Good. I want them to run on that. Won’t work at all.
