The Violence Of The Lambs

By Wyatt Earp | February 4, 2010

It’s no secret that I agree with Republicans – at least true conservative Republicans – on a lot of issues. Of course, there are more than a few who embarrass the Party – Ron Paul comes to mind – and I do my very best to rip them when it is deserved. I mean, I’m not a sheep, which is a good thing, because California Republican Senate hopeful Carly Fiorina seems to think sheep are evil.

Moonbattery has the shear insanity:

Carly Fiorina, the former HP CEO (who was so spectacular at the company that its stock price jumped 10% the day she resigned) is now running to be the third Maine sister from California. She was a shoo-in for the Republican nomination until former Congressman Tom Campbell jumped into the race. Now, her campaign has released an attack ad only slightly less over-the-top than Bonnie Tyler’s 1984 “Total Eclipse of the Heart” video.

It’s really early in the morning, so make sure you are quite ready to watch this video. It’s a little, um, off.

Dude. As awesome as it would be to see Barbara Boxer lose her seat, I don’t think I want some borderline lunatic replacing her.

As someone said on Twitter, some staffer came up with good talking points for an attack ad and then another came in and said, “Needs more sheep.”

Seriously, there’s some funny stuff on the #DemonSheep Twitter meme. I have been cracking up at the user, too.

Sally Anne – Eh, too dramatic. Heh.

    Proof – Sadly, it’s not.

Bitter – Yeah, we need Christopher Walken with the cowbell.

The Republicans don’t stand a chance if they start eating their own. Stop the madness or dingbatness.

The ad basically implies that Tom Campbell is a sheep-f*cker. And if that’s true, then… I see nothing wrong with the ad.

But seriously, someone got PAID to produce that trash? A true fiscal conservative would demand a refund.

    She ruined HP.

Oooh, I gots lotsa stories about Carly. I was working here at HP before she came on, the whole time she was here, the day she was FIRED and I’m still at HP. We’re just now starting to recover from what she did.

California Senate contender Chuck Devore was quick off the mark with his no demon sheep riff.

At least there is one Republican with a sense of humor.
