Harry Reid: A Skunk Of The First Order

By Wyatt Earp | December 8, 2009

Harry Reid CluelessAccording to soon-to-be-ousted Nevada Senator Harry Reid, if you are against the fiscally disastrous monster that is ObamaCare, you are probably all for putting African-Americans in chains.

I cannot speak for everyone else, but I wouldn’t mind seeing some of these politicians being lead away in chains. Or at least handcuffs.

It was the GOP that fought slavery and the Democrat Party that battled to preserve it. It’s the Democrat Party, not the GOP, that boasts an ex-Klansman among its senior leaders. But don’t confuse Harry Reid with history while he invokes slavery to lambaste the GOP for opposing the government-run health care takeover:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid took his GOP-blasting rhetoric to a new level Monday, comparing Republicans who oppose health care reform to lawmakers who clung to the institution of slavery more than a century ago.

The Nevada Democrat, in a sweeping set of accusations on the Senate floor, also compared health care foes to those who opposed women’s suffrage and the civil rights movement — even though it was Sen. Strom Thurmond, then a Democrat, who unsuccessfully tried to filibuster the Civil Rights Act of 1957 and it was Republicans who led the charge against slavery. (H/TMichelle Malkin)

Rhetoric like this from the current crop of Democrat politicians is not surprising, but it is still pretty despicable. It’s okay, though, because if you believe the polls, Paris Hilton has a better chance of winning Reid’s senate seat than he does.

Someone needs to beat the shit out of Reid with a “cluebat”.

Then, send his dumb-ass back to history class.

I thought everyone knew the Dems dirty little secret when it came to backing and urging passage of civil rights. How convenient to be able to rewrite history. What a steaming pile of cow manure!

Need we also mention that the KKK was the defacto terror wing of the southern democratic party. Also that McClellan as the head of the democratic ticket running against Lincoln wanted to end the war and cede the
moral high ground to the southern states and thus trap
those still enslaved and their progeny to the Confederate States of America into pertuity and divide the country
into two nations forever. Hmmmm sounds like they haven’t changed a bit the last 145 years .

His popularity is dropping in Nevada. The LV Review Journal has been slamming him for over a year. He is spending a ton of cash trying to explain what he is doing. Every time he opens his mouth on local TV he loses more voters.

And unbelievably the Republicans have strong local candidates ready to run against him.

    God Save the United States……..

I have come up with a theory about our current situation as it applies to these idiots in power. The people that would actually buy their bullshit aren’t even listening, couldn’t tell you who the vice-president is, nevermind the majority leader of the Senate, and they would vote Democrat regardless of what anyone said. Therefore, when he opens his yap and says something like this that is so egregious to regular people and taxpayers, he’s adding to his opposition exponentially. I say “keep talking Harry!”

Mark – Truer words were never spoken.

Teetop – I’ll settle for sending him out of office.

MeToo – All the while, coddling Robert Byrd for his vote. Despicable.

Jon – Sure they have. They are self-righteous now!

LDIV – Heck, God Save Nevada . . . from Reid.

Proof – He’s about as sharp as a bag of wet hair.

Kaveman – And knowledge is power!

Dave B – For conservatives, that’s a good plan for him.
