Attack Of The Crumb Crunchers

By Wyatt Earp | June 8, 2008

I’ve received a few e-mails and comments lately asking about the kids. Well, more specifically, my newbord son Kevin. I usually don’t post about the kids here - unless Kyle or Erik want to see themselves on the site - but I figured I could at least post a recent photo.

In the photo above, Erik (4) is on the left, Kevin (4 months) in sitting inside his Dale Earnhardt bouncy car - we got that when Kyle was born - and Kyle (7) is on the right. So far, everyone is doing well, and Kevin is sleeping through the night. He is eating well, and will probably make the jump to rice soon.

Erik breezed through Pre-K this year without incident, and just transferred to a bicycle from his tricycle. Still uses the training wheels, obviously, but he’s getting big. Kyle just finished his lacrosse and soccer seasons, and is getting ready for hockey, which starts next week. He made the traveling team at Philadelphia Soccer Club, and has to get fitted for his uniform on Monday.

Other than that, the homestead is fairly sedate. The missus keeps the kids in check, and I do my best to stay out of her way. She has a system, and so far, it seems to be working.

Awwww, they’re adorable! And I remember the big deal of “sleeping through the night”. I thought I was going to go insane until my kids did. My favorite stage, however, is the babbling stage. Where they sit and babble on endlessly about something.

DL474 - Thanks. They take after mom. Kevin smiles, blows bubbles, and laughs a lot, but no real babbling yet. That’s coming soon, though.

Beautiful kids, Wyatt, and MAJOR kudos on your site! Wow, it looks VERY professional! As an aside, am I correct in understanding you’ve lost some weight recently via Weight Watchers — the pre-packaged thing? Was it very expensive? Was it effective? How long do you stay on it?

RT - If they’re cute, I must not be their real dad. Heh.

BZ - Still on it, and I’m using their Points System. Every food has a point value, and you’re allowed a certain amount of points in a day. I’ve been on it since Jamuary - some blog friends and I are having a weight loss contest - and I’ve lost 36 pounds. We have two weeks left.

I would highly recommend Weight Watchers to anyone and everyones.

Very cute kiddos! Sometimes I miss mine being little, sweet, cute, innocent and such, then I remember 2 o’clock feedings, diapers and diaper bags and I’m glad to have my teen & preteen. ;) Enjoy them Wyatt!
