Meet Jeremy and Kathryn Mathis. They recently won a lawsuit which will allow their six-year old transgender girl to use the boy’s restroom. The couple claim Coy identified with “everything girl” at 18 months.
A six-year-old transgender girl has won the right to use the girls restroom at her school in Colorado. The decision was made by the Colorado Civil Rights Division on Sunday that the Fountain-Fort Carson School District created an unnecessarily hostile situation for Coy Mathis by not allowing her to use the female bathroom.
Mathis’ parents, Kathryn and Jeremy Mathis, filed a complaint through the Transgender Legal Defense and Education Fund in February.
“It was starting to be obvious to us that Coy was really uncomfortable being a boy,” Mrs Mathis recalled. “He wanted to know when we were going to take him to the doctor so that they would give him girl parts so that his body would be a girl.”
After reading this story, I’d venture two guesses. First, Jeremy and Kathryn are unapologetic, hardcore leftists. Second, the idea that Coy gravitated toward girl things at 18 months – and identified as a girl at age four – is nonsense. Those ideas came from somewhere, and yes, I am looking directly at the “parents.”
Either way, it’s a no-win situation for Coy Mathis.
