Okay, Roll The Clip

NBC David GregoryNBC “News” host David Gregory is a hack amongst hacks. He is the type of “journalist” who should be spending all his time as MSNBC, and NO time at NBC proper; especially with his idiotic “ban all guns” stance.

So, when something like this comes back to bite him in the ass, I laugh myself silly. I’d love to see him get jammed up for this.

Washington D.C. Police Chief Cathy Lanier has confirmed that the department is looking into allegations that NBC’s David Gregory violated D.C.’s gun banning laws during a recent taping of Meet the Press.

In a discussion about gun control, host David Gregory brandished a 30-round magazine purportedly for an AR-15 or similar “assault rifle.” The discussion took place on December 23, during the broadcast of NBC’s Sunday morning political talk show.

Washington D.C.’s gun laws, however, state that even possessing such a device is a violation. Meet the Press is filmed at NBC’s D.C. studios.

Yes, I realize nothing will happen to Gregory, even though he would be front row, center, demanding one of us to be arrested for possessing such a magazine.

Gregory is another of the do as I say, not as I do group. I read that he and the station knew that just owning a large clip was against the law in DC and he chose to have the clip anyhow. I say he should be prosecuted like anyone else would be and to the full extent of the law.
On a similar note, I think during the same show he was very much against having armed police or guards at schools yet stories surfaced about the Sidwell Friends school his children attend and the number of armed guards at the school.
    Hypocrite.

Well here come more ineffective laws, made in the clutches of emotions, that will make overnight felons of millions of law abiding Americans. Again.

    Wyatt:
A wonderful “oops” moment that couldn’t have happend to a better person.
I’m still smiling over THIS one.

As far as I’m concerned, “they” can BAN all the “clips” they want…just leave the MAGAZINES the hell alone, kapeesh?
    ;)

    Roll safe out there.

All those women with hair clips, toenail clips, fingernail clips will get swatted during their oil of olay bath.
Stripper clips for the M1 and for magazine loading will probably get by because they will think they are
      used in stripper clubs.

Jack – “Equality before the law” should be the standard here. The D.C. laws are ridiculous, but what’s good for the goose . . .

Jon – Liberalism is emotions based. Logic rarely enters into their discussions.

Bob G. – Gregory is a partisan hack, so yes, I do hope he is prosecuted.

As much as I’m preaching to the choir on this one, if he doesnt get prosecuted it should tell people that they are only going to enforce the laws on some of the people and not all of the people. Truthfully its no different than a celebrity getting a slap on the wrist for a DUI or drug charge. The good thind is that its on tape for the whole world to see and can be used against they gun ban lobby.

I’d like to see the DC cops use that for probable cause to have them search his house for the rifle it attaches to. I mean, who just buys a magazine?

Sadly, David Gregory will skate by. At the most, some production lacky will lose their job. Probably some poor schmoe who works behind the scenes will have to answer for it and David will apologize on air for the schmoe’s “mistake”.

GPC – Even if the D.C. Police “pursue it,” Eric Holder will squash any and all investigations. Gotta protect Obama’s protectors, right?

Proof – Exactly. I’ll guarantee he owns more then one firearm. Because, you know, his right to protection outweighs ours.

Rob – Agreed. And the schmoe won’t even complain. Honor amongst thieves.

Yep. He should be prosecuted. Let’s see Gilbert Arenas was prosecuted for bringing handguns into DC, why shouldn’t this pasty white guy lib be prosecuted for possessing a 30 round magazine? Wonder if one of the producers owns the weapon that the magazine belongs too? Please Davey, let us know? I believe it’s a felony (not sure) in DC? Of course if I were to conceal carry in DC, I wouldn’t get any leniency. BS. Prosecute!
