Today is my mom’s birthday. As such, I need remind her that her oldest – and least accomplished – child has a moderately successful blog. A blog where he can post his thoughts on family occasions.
It’s supposed to be a miserable, rainy day; a day made more miserable by the fact that I have a court case downtown at 8am. However, my sister will be taking mom out to lunch, and we;ll be taking her out to dinner later today.
Hopefully, that’ll make up for the fact that I never became a doctor. Heh.

Happy Birthday Momma Earp!!!!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Earp !
By all means.
And Mom Earp has a good son.
Even if he isn’t a doctor.
(hey, with ObamaTax, all that hard work and expense would have gone for nothing)
Happy Birthday Aunt Kathy!
Happy Birthday Mrs. Wyatt’s Mom!
Happy Birthday to Wyatt’s Mom. I bet she could tell us some very entertaining stories about you growing up.
You did send her flowers???? Hopefully, she’s having a great b-day!
Wyatt:
As someone whose mother passed (back in 1998), there is NEVER a day that goes by that I don’t think about her.
Some days are rougher than others.
In some ways, MOMS are just like VETS…they’ve been through a LOT of stuff, good AND bad.
(with some sons,..,.a little more “bad”…lol)
NEVER let your mom forget how much you love her and that you DO care, and ALWAYS be there for her to show her that.
They are a national treasure!
Stay safe out there
Thanks everyone! And Cathy, those records have been hermetically sealed.
Wyatt: Details from dinner on tomorrow’s post. Tell your Mom Happy B’day from all us SYLG followers.
Thank you for the comments on your blog today. All of you especially my son ( who is not a doctor) but of whom I am very proud. Love, Mom
A very Happy Birthday to Momma Earp
