Now We Know Why Max Is Mad

Because no-talent bimbos are being cast in a Mel Gibson-less reboot.

She may have been panned for her screen debut in Transformers, but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is certainly not about to let a few pesky reviewers put her off acting. The model and actress has announced she is set to star in Max Max: Fury Road.

The 25-year-old will play one of the five wives in the action movie with Zoe Kravitz, Riley Keogh and Adelaide Clemens also in the quintet, but the fifth wife is yet to be cast. She will also star alongside Charlize Theron, Tom Hardy and Nicholas Hoult in the reboot.

Tom has grown a bushy beard to portray the titular character, Max Rockatansky, and Charlize recently shaved her hair into a short crop, but she admits to being scared ‘s**tless’ at the prospect of playing the role.

She should be…

Like Escape from New York, Mad Max is a film that should never be remade or given another sequel.

You don’t screw with the classics, people.

Normally, I’d agree with you, Wyatt. But George Miller is slated to direct, and he directed all of the previous Mad Max flicks. Also, I’m kind of a Tom Hardy fan, so I’ll be giving it a chance. I just hope they have good sense enough to rely on real stunts, rather than CGI.

Metoo – And they lack the originality that once put them on top of the heap.

John D – I loved the first two, but the third one was a disappointment. YOU DO NOT PUT CHILDREN IN AN ACTION MOVIE! Did they learn nothing from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom?

Wes S. – To this day, I want to buy a replica of Max’s original V8 Interceptor.

What’s with the 5 wives? I don’t remember 5 wives in the first 3 movies. Unless Max was a polygamist?

Road Warrior was definitely the best of the three, and Beyond Thunderdome sucked!

Oh gee Hollywood can’t come up with something new, so let’s go ruin an original with a crappy remake. Mad Max and Road Warrior were movies of my misspent “ute”, loved them. True, Thunderdome sucked, but Tina Turner looked good for a woman in her mid-40′s, at that time.

Jon – Maybe they’re a crime syndicate? Who knows?

Ingineer66 – That would explain the explosives on the gas tank in the second film.

L Frame – Mad Max is underrated. Even with the slow middle, the beginning and end are awesome.

Jim – 100% correct! They considered remaking Escape from New York a few years ago. Can’t. Be. Done. The original was a near-perfect film.
